I was born and raised in Normandy, and it amazes me how a lot of movies/games never get the scenery right (types of greenery & trees wildlife). This doesn’t look like Normandy at all.
There were very few Stuka attacks on Allied forces in Normandy due to the complete aerial supremacy by Allied fighters over the combat zone of Normandy. It was the Allied forces that really preyed on the Germans and obliterated them at the Falaise Gap
Also by this point in the war, I believe most StuKas would have had their sirens removed. Though that doesn’t bother me as much, because with how famous the StuKa siren is, most people would probably be more upset if the StuKas didn’t make that noise, even if it was accurate.
In terms of graphics, this game is amazing and immersive. Gameplay wise... it looks lackluster. It looks to me that you can mow down enemies like Rambo from the get go
@@thebluemonkey123 Is that fun to your personally? I get the once punchman vibe and just breeze through everything knowing I wont die unless I really want to
People criticizing this game for being over the top and unrealistic forget that Call of Duty was always like that. In the very first Call of Duty, one guy practically takes on an entire ship.
@@FunBunChuck I'm talking about irl, the jeeps were built to be all terrain I'll agree with they should be bouncing more but it would still be able to do it.
@@gamerboiiiiii Not at those speeds. The US Army Jeep maxed out at barely 50mph on the road. Over rough terrain it struggled to hit 20mph. Even on the "roads" seen in this clip the Jeep in real life is not going to be that fast around turns. A purpose built off-road Rally race car? Yes. A world war two era Jeep? No. Not at those speeds. Tell you what,... accurate period correct replicas of the 1943-44 Army Jeep can be had for less than $8,000. If you can, get your hands on one, add in some seatbelts, wear a helmet and test run it on as close the same road conditions as seen here in this game footage. Have someone help calculate the exact distance traveled and figure out the time they took in game to cover that distance. Figure out what the average speed they needed to maintain for that specific amount of time for that distance to be traveled. Then take the replica Jeep, (only modifaction I allow is seatbelts for obvious safety reasons), run the same type of route over rough roads and hilly terrain and measur your best times over 12 attempts. Compare your best run vs the game footage. I guarantee that your best time will likely be twice as long as what we see in this game footage. Prove me wrong with actual results from the real world and not video game physics.
@@FunBunChuck ok paragraph not needed, second I'm not old enough to drive where I'm from and third you make a good point about the speed, I thought you were talking about suspension not speed but good point on speed it does look much faster at those speeds and if it really went that fast and made those turns it would go flying.
I just imagine how hard it was to put a new mag in that M1 Garand , many WW2 veterans said that their hands and fingers ached while reloading the rifle. But this is the rifle that gave allies the advantage and firepower over the axis power's bolt action rifles.
@@smokingcrab2290Average “firearms expert” on their way to pretend to be more qualified on the subject than the people who actually used the weapons in actual war:
its not at all though, the literal first point "we have to capture those AA guns to bring down the stuka's" is entirely unrealistic and not how it would realistically, tactically, logistically or historically go.
@@fuckoff4705 not to mention the fact that they hit every plane they shot at... interesting, dramatic visuals, but highly unlikely... and they probably would have been taken out very quickly
When COD was good. They don't make them like this anymore. Black Ops 2 was the last straw for me paying for a COD game. World at war was probably my favourite.
hey i play this game..Call of duty WWII.. its want of my favorite game ever. Call of duty. zussman finally back from hospital. this is fight with stuka i like it. good work bro.
basically i disapprove of world war in real life form. I played this game to show how the soldiers from both the Allied and Axis sides as well as the citizens suffered greatly from this terrible war, World War 2. all COD games are very memorable for me, they are very capable of wrapping not only from a visual standpoint. Characters, stories, visuals, visual effects, sound effects. Cod has its own characteristics. Moreover, CoD WW II gives the impression of the friendship story of Frank Aiello, Drew Stiles, Robert Zussman, "Red" Daniels. not forgetting also Sgt. the legendary antagonist "Sgt. William Pierson". But my heart hurt so much when Lt. Turner had to make a sacrifice and was shot dead in Hills 493. No mission too difficult! No sacrifice too great! Duty first!. I was very surprised by Lt. Turner. A Lieutenant who is full of humanity must be shot and the cinematic hhhhh where Turner's eyes no longer have life makes my heart hurt so much. The sad, hurt feeling of losing Turner left a deep mark on me. Dude this feeling is new in video games, how are the war soldiers who lost their comrades in arms. Can't imagine the pain while dodging bullets in order to survive. Hopefully World War doesn't happen again in real life. Hopefully we can establish a good relationship in the work. That's all buddy. Thank you
now this is the first time i see an m1 garand reloaded when there are still bullets in the chamber. for the record, I know it can be done, but seeing it in the game feels weird since we were used to waste a few shots just to sate that gamer need of hearing the ping. and having a full mag feels good, too.
My grandfather watched this video and said that this is extremely accurate but when he was carrying an MG42 on his hip like rambo and shooting krauts, the bullets would literately rip soldiers apart so this game isn't that gore accurate.
@@tbhc415 um if it was a 10 year old game yea for sure. Like i enjoy playing it and they are ok. Your confusing cool awesome sfx like explosions and stuff as grahpics.
3:05 the battle started 10 seconds ago and theyve already lost 3 shermans. thats half of their tanks and 15 experienced tankers gone with however many infantry were riding on top already. easily most of a platoon added together. Yikes
I decided to come back to my game for the 6th anniversary this year and Daniels randomly came back to my mind after a dream about him the night before reloading the game back up. I forgot how much I loved him
World at War will always be superior in terms of portraying war, at least for the cod franchise. Graphics are not everything, execution, story telling, gameplay, and atmosphere are what make great games.
Americans are again shown as tough warriors. They landed in Normandy when the Germans were almost defeated by the Soviet Union and then almost all died. A game is a game, a movie is a movie, and life is life.
Everyone complaining about the player character being some kind of super soldier is if it hasn't been that case since the very first CoD game. I used to agree with these comments, but looking back at CoD 1 and 2, it was the exact same way back then, so not sure why everyone is complaining now
@@tbhc415 mg42 I can find information about this gun on the internet but I am interested in playing the game but not interested in learning about the guns. I don't have to know that
@Exhthronous Look at the sounds in this game. There is literally 3 tanks in front of your character and you barely hear them. Sounds empty as hell and brings no life to the environment and immersion
@@maxsimus5599 yes really I watch it whether it's a very long gameplay or not I just love it I can't play but yeah watching ur gameplay feels like that am only controlling it 🙂🙂

COD is amazing, but... same problem with BF... planes fisics and movement is soo fantastyc... you see a plane move like a car... and you lose all the inmersive feeling
