Situation:
S-2 has identified an immediate and imminent attack on AFP forces. Intel suggests with Delta solidifying the AFP COP in the AO that most likely PLA forces from the north are pushing back down to capture the COP. S-2 has suggested a preemptive attack on Chinese positions to thin out troops stationed in the NE AO.
Mission:
1st PLT, D CO 2/75 RR will conduct Combat Patrols from newly established Patrol Base Haze. Five (5) known Enemy positions have been identified by S-2. All enemy forces encountered must be Cleared out. Enemy forces have been identified at the village located at grid 178242. 1st PLT will conduct a recon and movement to contact to that village.
Commander’s Intent:
Conduct Patrols to locate and destroy enemy forces in the local area surrounding PB Haze. Failure to hold control of this area will result in major losses to AFP forces as well as 2nd PLT.
