Mission Overview:
Operation Frostbite will test our ability to adapt to harsh conditions, where communication and coordination between Team Leaders (TLs) and Squad Leaders (SLs) will be paramount. The snowstorm has reduced visibility to minimal levels, making it difficult to rely on visuals for navigation or spotting enemy forces. In this environment, communication will be your most vital tool.
Primary Objective:
● Capture and control three key points: Pick Mountain Radio Tower, Enemy Cave Hideout (106,024), and Outpost Ruins (111,017).
● Maintain secure communication between TLs and SLs to relay enemy movements, squad positions, and tactical decisions.
Mission Scenario:
Due to heavy snowfall and blizzard conditions, the enemy is also facing the same limitations as us. However, they have fortified key positions along Ore Ridge. This gives us an opportunity to strike hard and capture these points while they are hindered by the environment.
● Phase 1: Infiltration
Ground teams will be inserted via snow vehicles to avoid detection. Communication between each team is essential, as navigation will be difficult. TLs and SLs must frequently report positions to command and coordinate movement to ensure teams do not get lost or separated.
● Phase 2: Recon & Assault
Visibility will be limited, and aerial recon is unavailable due to the storm. Instead, ground teams will rely on close-range recon and comms to identify enemy
positions at each objective. All movements and engagements must be coordinated through TLs and SLs. Silence is key, as noise will carry further in the snow.
● Phase 3: Secure & Hold
Once the assault is initiated, TLs will synchronize with SLs to hold captured positions. Reinforcement and resupply will be limited, so clear communication will be critical to prevent isolated teams from being overwhelmed. Maintain constant updates between all units.
Execution:
1. Infiltration:
Each squad must move cautiously, with TLs providing regular updates on their team’s position to command. Visibility is under 50 meters, making navigation and coordination difficult.
2. Engagement:
Upon encountering the enemy, TLs will coordinate a synchronized assault. Communication will ensure all squads engage simultaneously, preventing enemy counter-attacks from weak spots.
3. Hold&Defend:
Once the objectives are secured, teams must dig in and prepare for potential enemy counter-assaults. TLs will maintain communication with each other to monitor overall status, supply needs, and request reinforcements if necessary.
