Yep, the community; both Ranked and Casual have become so sweaty, specially at the upper levels that it is really hard to find joy in R6 anymore. But tbh i think the void edge theme did it better, it has more emphasis on the classic 5 notes at the beginning
Beginning sounds like White Noise, rest sounds like a mix of Grim Sky and Phantom Sight, and at 2:20 you can hear the Nighthaven theme aka the Shifitng Tides theme, obviously the themes have been mixed together since Ace is from Nighthaven and Melusei is a part of Rainbow Six.
He's right. On the intro of Steel Wave OST, covers the part of White Noise intro, later the middle part before the Shifting Tides OST, sounds a mix of Grim Sky (drums from the start) and the Phantom Sight (oscure theme).

I play this game since void edge, but steel wave just hit different, 10 hours per day, Scream each other with my friend, ahhh I Miss that quarantine moment😔
I'm start play siege in steel wave and in crimson heist I stopped played siege Bye siege, you was great. thanks for great sound tracks in steel wave, shadow legasy, sugar fright, M.U.T.E protocol and thanks for events sugar fright, mute protocol and rainbow is magic
last fun season of rainbow 6 before ubi ruined the game with "balances". Ace in steel wave was the best experience for me as an attacker. Solid kit, solid role and also a ton of fun to play as.
This is it. This is peak. Next to Void Edge. The theme puts Siege into a strange, lost and sad place. I think it's extremely fitting, considering the lore.
I hated this theme but it just reminds me of last summer when everyone was stuck inside of the pandemic and me and my friends only played R6, GTA, and CoD
I just started this game, so I’m obviously biased, but I miss this theme so much. The Shadow Legacy and Neon Dawn themes really just didn’t do it for me.

It feels so Nostalgic now i wanna go back eventho i didn't appreciated the time and was done with r6 now i'm back but man i wish i could go back for once
