The 5 notes at the beginning gave me chills

Thought I'd never hear the classic 5 notes again, those notes are the melody that say s i e g e

These transitions between violin and electronic are amazing.

Sounds like Hitman, Detroit and r6s together

Fun fact: Shifting Tides theme did not have the infamous 5 notes at the beginning because NIGHTHAVEN are not actually CTUs, thus Kali and Wamai are not counted as a part of Rainbow Six team (Even though Harry clearly let them into the team). Small detail but absolutely amazing, and it shocked me in joy when I realized it.

Remember this. 2020 quarantine vibes.

This menu theme had such a different feel than steel wave and shadow legacy

Imagine this: Lockdown has just started, you got a holiday from your school/college/work and you load into R6 siege for multiple hours of neverending fun

Now I’m even more hyped for this operation

Best one since Outbreak. Reminds me of the Y1 themes

I started in this season and just hearing it brings back so much nostaligia

music is the most underrated part of r6 siege imo. Who composes this stuff? Edit: this really helps prove the point that video games can be more than just games, they're works of art

I love how this music kind of sounds like the two Operators put together. The synths and the ethereal background noise: Iana The immediate and cutting cello in the foreground: Oryx

It definitely was a bit late for me to start on this season, but I still have a ton of nostalgia for this. I had nothing play during the pandemic, so I decided I would finally give that one super hard FPS game a try. I had a blast learning it, made lots of friends including my best friend while playing this game. It was one of the best times for gaming in my entire life. After just 3 years, I now know what OG Siege players mean when they say the game has changed so much. The current game is almost unrecognizable compared to when I first played it.

I'm glad the 5 notes are back ! I was worrying they took away that notes since Shifting tides

I started in void edge and I miss this bro it was so fun that season I got to level 100 in that season alone all my friends loved the game and I'm the only one left that plays it

I really wish one day the developpers decide to make an option like "we can choose the theme of the main menu from any season from the start" Void Edge was the best, i want it back in-game :(

I remember the days when i used to play this game. Every. Single. Day. I mean i used to upload and try to be a youtuber in high school, obviously it failed but im going to college now so its only every now and then, and my friend group is completely different. I still kept the videos on my channel to rewatch them, to remind myself that the times weren’t always so stressful

Void edge was the time I switched to pc and this brings back memories of being ass at aiming and at one point plugging controller for ranked

I love how this season surrounds the uncertainty just as in void. First, the Lady operator, you can’t tell if she is a real one or a hologram = uncertainty. Oryx, you thought you have someone took care of the stairs and the rotation hole, and wahbam a muscle man just cling onto the hatch and that is the last thing you hear from your teammate: “noob why you no care the hatch noob”. Basically having an Oryx on the defender side is kinda putting more fear into your squad because you can’t be certain where he is.

I recently bought the game and the game started with this theme. Fell in love with it after listening to it the first time.

being level 42, a fuze main with no sense of aim or reason, and reading the operator bios was one of the best feelings I got playing this game during void edge.

i love this theme so much omg, this just brings me right back to when i first opened the game and started playing with my friends and knowing absolutely nothing. i remember i used to leave it open on the menu because i wanted to hear the music. i miss it so much it was just fun and carefree because we’re i was there was no school or anything

This is the season I started playing in. Oryx has been my main ever since, and Iana my attacker. 2 great operators, along with a banger theme

they really said they're gonna make this a tier 1 game and it starts off with this gem of a soundtrack. can't wait for the Oregon rework and then Sky and Chalet too. Pumped!

The return of 5 notes. Shifting Tides music tells a lot for the future lores of Siege. NIGHTHAVEN doesn't have the spirit of the five notes present in all other seasons, they don't put a total allegiance to RAINBOW.

I remember getting siege for my birthday in March 2020, and this was the operation at the time and I remember starting up the game for the first time and being greeted with this music....

This was where I started r6. IMO the best season I played

Void Edge has my absolute favourite theme, it was the season is started playing and it makes me feel nostalgic. Seeing how seige has changed so much since VE makes this music even sweeter to revisit.

This was the theme I heard when I first started playing siege, it was probably the beginning or the beginning before quarantine. There was a game mode called golden gun out, I was new to the game and it was just a game where my friends and I could hop on and just chill. I miss those days

I started playing during operation: void edge. Love this theme, the steel wave one just doesn't feel the same.

Those 5 notes you hear on the start of the song, in music theory is called "leitmotiff" and is commonly used to represent a character, situation or element, in this case is used to represent siege's rainbow organization.

The first time I ever played siege was sometime in December of 2019. I played a few rounds and then I started again in March, then quit. Then I started again and June, I love it and I haven’t stopped since.

The best theme to play at midnight during quarantine

Glad to hear those iconic 5 notes!! I understood why they took them away for NightHaven, but I was still bummed that they did. The cello gives me chills in this song. Easily my new favorite menu theme.

I love the strings at the end of this. The buildup is amazing. The progressions are so deadly and epic sounding. @2:15

I miss this time of my life playing r6 ranked with my boys all day going through highs and lows trying to hit diamond 😭😭I played like 1000 matches that seas also remember playing mw 2019, apex, for honor, Minecraft, fall guys… this was of the best times of my life my life has chsnged so much simce this 😕 I miss quarantine

Back when siege was on top of the world before the fall with quarantine and covid which destroyed the game not to mention producing extraction. terrible updates underwhelming ops and no maps. The events showed what siege could’ve been but now we’ve lost a huge player base not to mention many content creators

void edge, chimera and white noise had the best themes in my opinion, with an honorable mention to shifting tides and ember rise

This may be up there with Operation Chimera’s theme. Such a relief considering the last operation’s theme was mediocre at best.

This was the best moment for this game. That was Rainbow Six Siege, No toxic, No cheater or less than now, that was fun... I started from this season and I have goosebump hearing this song!!

Wow that was a long time ago.

Man no matter what the 5 notes will never ever get old and them like basically remixing it to sound different just makes it sound way better and to suit the season's style and atmosphere games like battlefield keep their same OST just occasionally tweaking it and it still sounds legendary I hope ubisoft keeps this up also this is probably the best in a while

Absolutely love it. 10/10. I already know that I am gonna miss this season so much when it ends. I have played the TS and this by far is the best season ever in this game.

This is by far the best menu music ever. Usually I hit ALT TAB or press a key because it's annoying. This was subtle and not intrusive. And sound like Stranger Things x Annihilation
