Operator Challenge: Letsdig18 vs. Dirt Perfect 

Volvo really needs to up their game supporting these two more directly. Such good sports and good operators.

It's always great to see Mike and Chris competing against each other at any of volvo's exhibitions and your guaranteed a really good laugh, but the two of them show us the RU-vid viewers what is coming up in the excavation world, I'm am a volvo man from truck's to the excavators and I have driven and operated both the I've driven truck's all over Europe and excavators in the UK, thank you volvo for another great video. Just a after thought volvo missed a trick when Chris was looking for a bigger excavator and he had to go else where for his next machine.

I really liked the video guys. Both of you have awesome skills. I have watched letsdig18 more but dirt ball tv is great to. Very cool.

Mike’s advantage was obvious. He has so many projects where he is hooking/unhooking concrete blocks, and placing them. Don’t forget the number of clay pipe he put out into his field for tiles…although they were free, breaking them was wasted labor/fuel plus clean up. Fun stuff to watch and they’re both diplomatic ambassadors for the industry, Volvo, and now, Hyundai….Case for DP (being punny, he’d rather have a case of Pepsi).

Their will always be a place for electric equipment.

Seems to me the main downsides of EV machinery are endurance & longevity Once they can operate for a standard working day without needing charging & power cells have a guaranteed 6 year life, diesel is toast.

A guy with almost all Volvo equipment vs a guy with an old Volvo haul truck. Makes sense
