Martin Mendez - Bass
Martin Lopez - Drums
Never before shared publicly, this is the "classic" Opeth lineup at their best. Put on a pair of headphones and enjoy.

I wonder if he could preserve his voice better if he took vocal lessons. That said, he absolutely slayed his part on In Cauda Venenum, his clean vocals are at the peak now.

Hey! You see, Aphil Ethereal's solo is performed by Mikael! But in the RAH performance it is Fredrik who does the solo... I wonder if there is a possibility for Mikael to continue transferring his solos to Fredrik...
@daghetto101
@daghetto101 Год назад
Frederick plays solos. Mikael plays solos. Both of them are Lead Guitar and Rhythm Guitar. Both of them are main guitarist. Its a thing to other bands. Even when Petr is still around its the same. Its just that Mikael plays lot more solos in order for Fred/Petr to play an acoustic part. The Acoustic parts are tricky and impossible to sing to while playing it, plus turning on the effect is a drag too.
@Lvcifvge
@Lvcifvge Год назад
@@daghetto101 Yes, I am aware of that! By the way, there's a video from that same channel where they play the song "THE MOOR" and Mikael plays the acoustic part and sings at the same time, which is extremely complicated. However, at the Royal Albert Hall and from then onwards, acoustic fingering was done on the keyboard, while he just sang.
@daghetto101
@daghetto101 Год назад
@@Lvcifvge This band is just amazing. They really wanted that acoustic parts on their songs. Playing both Lead & Rhythm for both guitarist (of course Mikael while singing). Guys doing both solos. Damn this band is so good. I guess Mikael was like "hey bruv you dont sing, might as well do the acoustics too, its fine i do some solos to balance it out for ye" LMAO.
