The fact that the Ophanim are not anthropomorphic should be seen as a significant reminder that not everything that is God's angel is going to look like us. It doesn't have to look like us to be an angel. Considering how the universe is formed and forming it's going to go way beyond everything we know or will know.

Despite their strange and otherworldly appearances, the angels do have a certain beauty to them. Both fantastical yet familiar at the same time.

the Ophanim are some of my favorite beings talked about in the bible, they're mysterious and every artistic depiction of them looks so cool. I do believe they serve the purpose of reminding us that we don't know everything and that's ok, we only need know what is relevant to us and seeking answers to things beyond us will only lead us to insanity. to me they serve as a reminder that obsessing over knowledge is a path way to disaster and just knowing the bare minimum is ok if you don't need to study it.

Every time a human encounters anything to do with heaven we literally fall on our faces.

The more I watch these, the more I'm convinced that the angels are multi-dimensional beings. Like HP Lovecraft's Cthulu, maybe their true form is undiscernable to humans and thus our brains interpret them as having wings, multiple faces, and eyes where eyes shouldn't be. Either that or their technology is just beyond Ezekiel's comprehension. Imagine taking a modern car and teleporting it back in time 4,000 years. How would ancient humans describe a Honda Civic?

I saw one of these on a DMT trip 10 years ago. Scary thing is I only learned about Ophanim like 2 weeks ago.

Since learning of the ophanim and seraphim I’m having flashbacks to my last heavy acid trip. I saw the fabric of my reality bending and contorting with many, many eyes filling the gaps, all gazing upon me from another plane, in-between the cracks. It was the most beautiful, warm feeling being watched by them. I felt truely protected by the universe and little did I know at the time of the religious experience I was having. I am in no way religious and I now think there is something deeply wrong with that since learning of these angelic entities. I feel I must bow to the greater power controlling this universe, I am completely and utterly confounded.

I think the 4 faces that the prophets saw of Angels are similar to 3D prints/stickers that changes images depending on the angle when you move around.

I was once visited by the ophanim in a dream it was the night after a friend's funeral. It was this crazy big bright ball of energy violently charging the air with these big metal like rotating bans circling rapidity around this big bright ball of violent energy. I found myself falling down to my hands and buttocks to back out of this energies way but I was amazed by the look of it and was staring into the light curiously but also intensely.. My girlfriend at the time woke me up from this dream and she was crying saying that I was singing the song my deceased friend brothers where singing at the funeral ( Catholic hymns ), but the funny thing is I don't speak their language ( German ) and my girlfriend said I was singing the same words. It was super crazy and now I find myself seeing more about this on subject on RU-vid. I never knew that what I seen in my dream had been seen before. That's even more crazy. So what does this mean to me? The dream I had was 20 years ago and I still remember to this day

We humans would never comprehend the spiritual Realm and the supreme being nature of the Almighty. We live in this world and in our time frame while God is the master of time and doesn't even need to be in the same space and time as we are. There's no words that can describe and how he works, the greatness of YAHWEH is just unexplainable and he willingly gave his only son Jesus Christ to die for our sins and to be in the former glory as we once were before the fall.

You know what I find very strange. You see the devil pretending to be human, having all the looks, very smart, and well loved but he's evil and wants bad things for you, yet we know their afraid of angels. Is it because angels have unusual forms that breaks our minds and become afraid. Why is it when angels appear Infront of people, all angels tell them to not be afraid. It must be there their unusual forms they take.

When describing them as the literal wheels of God's chariot, their design honestly just makes a lot of sense. Omnidirectional wheels are nothing new (at least nowadays) and the structure of the Ophanim is very reminiscent of a gimbal. Their sentience could simply be to allow the chariot to drive itself, with the eyes helping keep track of where it's going. So God's chariot is really just a self-driving car with omnidirectional gimbal wheels. This also suggests an extremely nerdy weakness of the Ophanim: gimbal lock. It would probably be harder to achieve (or possibly easier) than normal since existing in a higher dimension means more degrees of freedom, so even if two align, there are still more directions they can turn. I think I see 6 distinct rings on the image provided, which would suggest that they're 4 dimensional. (4 dimensions gives 6 degrees of rotational freedom.) Also they're just so cute!

I caught a very brief glimpse of this angel last year during an intense spiritual experience. No, I was not on DMT or any other drug. I had ZERO clue it was described in the Bible until about a month after seeing it. I didn't see any eyes on it but it was yellowish-gold and BRIGHT with a purple-ish aura. It spun like a gyroscope, one wheel within the other. It was magnificent and so beautiful at the time I saw it but when I found out it from the Old Testament I totally and completely freaked out. Fun fact These "angels" look like a client was telling his design suggestions to the designer. People are trying to reconstruct the exact look upon a vague text depiction. Even today people have more precise words yet it's still impossible.

The wheels not changing direction when it moved suggests that these wheels are actually spheres moving rapidly and the parallax effect causing the observer to only see a two dimensional wheel. What if the "spirit of the seraphim were in the wheels" suggests that the human form is merely a projection formed by the wheels and generated it and not merely attached.

I've seen one before.. at Electric Forest (a music festival) at sunrise. I was staring into the perfect blue sky directly above my head and suddenly saw one large eye in the center with wheels covered in eyes and other more intricate gears and wings rotating and extending back into infinity. They were glowing with golden light. I had no idea what it was until years later when I came across the "be not afraid" meme. I wasn't afraid, I was in complete awe.

i feel like the physical look of an angel is so divine, and outside of the box that the human brain cannot interpret the physical character of an angel because the idea is beyond our ability to envision a physical object in our brain, for example when we remember a memory, we play it as if its a movie in our head. we can imagine an angel, but they are so divine and otherworldly beautiful that it is unrealistic for us, physically it is something the human brain cant even fathom exists because its so out of this world.

I've alway viewed the ophanim as celestial, divine machinery, as opposed to sentient entities. I guess I would classify them as God's tools more than actual beings. 🤔

The depiction of the last one. In 2020 when my life was hell, I found myself standing on one of the wheels with the same magenta color. I remember feeling the most scared I have ever been. Afraid to fall off as the wheels moved and seeing all of these wheels moving in so many directions. The sound around it was both powerful and quiet. Knowing what I have learned since then, I have prayed to the angel to visit again. I hope one day it does.

In the Old English , the word for Heaven is Heofonum, which isn't so similar in lettering but in sound. I don't know of any connection of the two, just Ophanim made me think of Heofonum.

I had an experience with divine intervention. I was walking around a curved road at the point of night when it’s just about to start becoming day. It’s the darkest before the day as they say. This car should have hit me but this angel pushed me out the way. I felt my entire body tingle and felt like the car went thru my body. I felt a loving energy come all around my body and it went out from the crown of my head as if the angel was holding me from behind and it flew back into the clouds into a portal. It was a lightbody. It was made of complete light and moved as fast as light. It saved my life. I can never in my life deny the existence of God again.

i saw one of these on a mushroom trip. artists renditions are actually pretty freaking close. i remember ribbons and super colored bands with eyes on each different color. and the colors were colors you dont see with regular eyes. it was a moment of choice for me. i chose to let it become a part of me. but, like everything, it must be maintained. it is a divine connection. a throne. spiritually, you sit in it. or maybe embody it? like a vessel. like what our human body is to us right now. and with it, you can access the akashic records. which is not like a library or a list, and more like a person sitting down and having a conversation with you.

I had a prophetic dream where I died and everyone around me died from a missile coming down, I felt myself deteriorating and melting and losing my memories, my consciousness becoming like a drop of water. Every soul becomes a drop of water and we would all come together as an Orb. Like earth but just water, i can feel everything and everyone around me, Engulfing me, I felt at peace and I can see everything from every direction. As soon as I woke up, I wrote that dream with the date and I say it’s prophetic because my dream predicted the war happening right now. I don’t know if us all becoming as one, an orb, has any relations to the Ophanim but it felt like it.

In the war in heaven Lucifer wanted to overthrow God, God didn’t even do anything Michael literally beat the crap out of him and physically threw him out of heaven. I think that their bizarre depiction only shows how we are so anthropocentric when heavenly entities are far beyond us and our understanding and while of course things like the many eyes can have a more metaphorical meaning, it can just be us humans trying to understand the impossible. I also don’t think that the ophanim being an angel or a vehicle need to be exclusive things, it can be both; again, its us seeing thing trough human eyes rather than having the full knowledge about the secrets of heaven, or so I think

These beings appear to me once. They where extremely weird, and looked like multicolored circle's within circles that radiated with multicolored lights. They had many eyes that looked in all directions and moved independently from each other. And I herd a voice that said, do not be afraid. I will never forget it. I was in a forest trail going up a mountain and had just finished eating some funny looking mushroom's I found along the trail when they appear all around me.

The reason I'm here is because of a dream. I was sitting at a very long table with many unknown people, everyone of us (as best as I can recall) was given and holding a crown. My crown tuned into this... but as I was holding it in my cradled hands there seemed to be different galaxies, or flames within the rings as it glowed rather than floating eyes. It was such a profound dream, I would often ponder what the dream was and why it stuck with me so much. It was SO vivid.. Later I ran across a video showing what angels truly looked like and I realized that was what was in my dream. I'm not a person to play into things but why was it so accurate to what I see in these videos? How did my mind create this dream without knowledge of this angel.

If the spirit of the cherubs is "within" the wheels, then obviously the wheels don't function independently. And the account said as much. Seen something similar and a high dose of magic truffles a few years back. Was intense. No wheels though, just a giant brain like creature floating in absolute darkness, covered in eyes and radiating a light. Was a little scary, but not scary enough to put me off trying them truffles again.
