As someone who lives in Mexico City, I have to say that I love the colors and the names! I haven't bought nail polish in quite some time, but I will be getting some of these shades 💖 Mariachi makes my day may not make a lot of sense for a spring-summer collection, but for Mexico and as a whole it does make sense.
@@KelliMarissa You and your boyfriend should start making plans to take a trip to Los Cabos at the tip of Baja California. You could rent, (or hire,) a boat and go out to Land's End and take a swim or go fishing. Also, if you go in February (maybe for Valentine's Day?) there will be whales to see in the Sea of Cortez because that's where the gigantic gray whales go to give birth from mid-January through March. It's kind of like the whale mamas' maternity ward. As travel destinations go, Mexico is CHEAP! The food, the beer, and the tequila (if you're looking to get blitzed) is all cheap (by American standards) and it's all very good. Just don't go during spring break! You don't want to be stuck in a hotel (let alone a whole town) that's full to the rafters with drunk, loud and stupid college kids who are busily making BAD choices in between puking in the hotel's potted plants and passing out on the beach.
The colors are totally Mexico inspired colors, the vibrancy of Fiesta, margaritas and papel picado that adorn the ceilings of restaurants, lol. Love this collection.
The shade name my chihuahua doesn't bite anymore made me laugh so hard and I really needed that, thank you, OPI has such goofy names sometimes, I love them

I love the Mexico City edition 🇲🇽 😍 I think the ‘Mariachi makes my day’ is a part of the edition because purples, blues, yellows, orangey reds etc are a huge reflection of the Mexican culture 🥰
All of these were just screaming Frida to me... And Mi Casa es blue casa just confirmed the inspiration!! That color matches La Casa Azul - the house in MDF that Frida Kahlo shared with Diego Rivera ❤️❤️ Also... It's really cute that 5'7 is tall to you 😂😂 everyone in my family is 5'10 and over

I'm thankful you showed them new in Winter😃 Also, I started out with Sinful Colors and Endless Blue and Let's Talk are my FAVORITES of theirs!!!! I am going to buy the new Spring colors you just showed us of the metallic yellow and the blue and purple I forgot the names but will look again. Also, I LOVE yellow as it has been my favorite color since I was a little girl I am new 52. I however, LOVE purple and blue nail polishes. OPI and China Glaze are my favorites. But since following you on RU-vid, about 2 years ago, I really love Zoya and Cuccio. I usually get them from Amazon, but because of watching you, I get them from HB Beauty Bar😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁❤❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you Kelli for doing this. I have been doing g my own nails since I was a teen but I learned a lot with watching how you keep your cuticles clean when putting on polish and the clean up!! The shade SUZI'S SLINGING MEZCAL would make a nice accent nail as well. Love that one and the name MURAL MURAL ON THE WALL it was perfect for that shade
That viva opi red would be perfect with a black and white polka dot sundress. This collection is just what I needed so I can daydream about summer in the middle of this snowstorm!

Sinful Colors Endless Blue is my favorite blue and top 3 favorite polishes. 💜 In this OPI collection...I loved the last 2 colors (the blue and purple). Blue and purple nail polish is what I wear the most. Thanks for another great swatch and review, Kelli.

The Spanish major/Latino Studies minor in me adores this collection. I actually don't have any OPI polishes, so this might be my first collection to pick some up from. I think I'll pick up Viva OPI, Mural Mural on the Wall, Coral-ing Your Spirit Animal, Don't Tell a Sol, Verde Nice to Meet You, Me Casa es Blue Casa, & Mariachi Makes My Day. I picked up a couple of opi polishes last week and one was mural mural. I thought it was pretty in the bottle but didn’t think much about it. But when I wore it I was shocked, it’s soo stunning! I’ve never owned anything quite like it and Ive worn it for a week straight now and I don’t plan on switching anytime soon
I feel they added the purple because the rest of the colors of the rainbow were already included. I do love that purple though! That and the one with the flakies caught my eye!
I like these colors, but thankfully I have enough cremes and shades that I'll never fully use! I just bought 5 shades of the cirque collection you swatched last time because I love the toppers and the very Valentino is beautiful! So I'm done for a while with polish unless its unique! Idk why the purple is in the spring collection either but it’s so pretty. I do like the pink and reds too. The yellow is nicely opaque. I love almost all of em. Btw love your eye look!

Mural Mural On the Wall looks very interesting and pretty! I like Verde Nice to Meet You too. Maybe they are thinking spring irises with the Mariachi color. It is so pretty, but I agree it seems dark for spring/summer.
I think they should have named the purple one after Violet's, so that it would have tied in with a flower for the seasons. It looks like that color to me. Love that jelly one too! Thanks for the review!

Years ago I started buying the shade with "Suzi" in the name (even if that was the only polish that I bought from that collection) and haven't been disappointed yet. "Suzi Slings Mezcal" definitely looks interesting! And I think that a deep purple looks great any time of the year!
Your eye makeup looks so beautiful, you did such a good job blending it around your eyes. I love the colors of your eye shadow too, they go so well together.
Hello Mural Mural on the Wall - the Indie Pink with Gold Flakie.... I see what you did there OPI and I hope they keep on doing interesting combinations like that! Suzis Slingin Mezcal is Pineapples have Peelings sans glitter! And that off white Hue is the Artist reminds me of Angel with a Leadfoot - probably my favorite white of all time and I hoard it and don’t even want to use. So I will definitely pick that one up as well.
I think the purple shade is fine season wise...it’s the fact that it is nearly identical to Hello Pretty (which just came out) that is curious to me. Also, I think there is definitely a unique shade in the collection - Mural Mural on the Wall. The fact that it has the gold flakes alone is unique.

Mariachi makes my day is a spring ish shade in my opinion it’s a really Mexican shade and it also the color that most Catholic priests wear on Easter mass and Mexico is really Catholic
That My Chihuahua Doesn’t Bite Anymore is cracking me up! Of course I own the original. Kind of wonder how close they are in color? Sinful Colors Endless Blue is one of my favorite colors ever! It’s so perfect! Somehow I ended up with 3 bottles of it. And I’m not even mad about it. LOL! Of course I think I’ll be picking up Mi Casa Es Blue Casa and second favorite would be Mural Mural On The Wall. I know it’s a different color than Zoya Robbie. But it’s 100% what I hoped Robbie would be as far as the flakie payout. I’m wearing Robbie right now and while it’s a pretty color. That gold-ish flakes don’t stand out in my bottle. So I threw Zoya Dallas on and I’m pretty happy with that combo. I can’t wait to see this collection in person.
I wasn't able to get any of the polishes I liked from this collection from my normal online retailer, but luckily the stores I buy locally from haven't received them yet, so I still have a chance. Not gonna lie, that is crazy, I've never had a problem getting any OPI shade... Guess this collection is speaking to people!

It's a new camera!! I bought it for myself as a holiday gift after saving up, haha I'm so happy you can see a difference!! It's crazy, I've been using the same camera since 2014 so I figured it was about time for an upgrade!
