I want to give a huge thanks to you Ryan! it's my 31st bday today and I'm 53 days clean!! over the past 4 years I have relapsed more times than I can count! I almost lost my husband of 12 years and our 5 children because of my addiction to my pain meds...because of you and your videos I found the strength to finally pull my head out of my ass..lol. I'm never going back!! thank you so much! please don't ever quit inspiring others!

Dang Ryan, I remember watching one of your first videos a few years back and you were telling us how much it meant to you that "WE" get clean and I remember you getting tears in your eyes... and yet you're still here helping the world.. September was my two years clean and just wanted to say thank you

Russel and you inspired me. Now clean from oxy for 8 months, still hard sometimes but when I watch you, I feel like you are there, thank you Ryan, you saved me.

I'm 14 days clean. I detoxed in a hospital that allowed us to drink coffee. No wonder I felt so terrible in the morning! I'll wait on drinking it till my body and my brain have a chance to heal. It makes me wonder how a detox center openly allows drinking coffee. I so appreciate your efforts. I found you last month and at first I thought ' what the he'll does this dude know about addiction". Turns out that you are very knowledgeable, and break it down in laymen's terms. I'm 66 years old. Time will tell if I can survive the hell of paws, but you have made a profound impact. Thank you Ryann!

oh man...that pink cloud!!! it was pretty amazing! but 11months free and some days (today) are still rough...I know for a fact I will never use again...So here Iam back here for your advice...does the urge to use ever stop? I was fine until things came up with my husbands sobriety again..and I was mad and discouraged at him and for a second I thought..screw it! But only a second...I won't..but what about my marriage...man i thought we were clear and good! So disappointed.. Thanks Ryan✌

N2KY Your not fucked that's your brain being negative to keep you using. It's like this bro and I'm being blunt cause I've lived it. Whatever you feel even though you swear it's physical is mental. You aren't feeling like shit your brain is and that trancends to physical. You have to take absolutely nothing and then endure the 2-3 months that follow. The first month will seem unbearable and you will probably think it won't end and you want to die or use. Month 2 you will know you are past withdrawal but fall into deep depression and thoughts that you are now clean but still mentally and occasionally physically feel like you have a weak withdrawal (that's your brain healing it's chemical levels). Month 3 you will finally start feeling normal. And when I say that I don't mean wake up and scream I'm cured. You will rotate good and bad days almost every other day or 2-3 days but by the end of the month you should physically and mentally feel 100% fine with no symptoms to speak of. You just have to want it bad enough and find the will to endure even when everything screams stop and KNOW, not think but KNOW it's going to end

fof the next Q & A can u list the best possible things to take during withdrawl before during and after to help a little through the hell. Im starting my detox and im just starting to feel shitty. I got a bunch of meds and subs but this is the worst ive ever been trying to stop. I would love to see more tips, tricks and just all around advice to get thru this hell. Sometimes the stories are interesting but me personally the tips help the most. Thanks! (btw nobody is even close to this channel with amount of help and hope it gives people stuck in this hell)

I cut coffee out almost completely after acute withdrawal through 120 days. The crash from the caffeine was too much for me and would make me feel hostile and irritable. Now I have about a cup 4 times a week. I now have 6 months clean after a 10 year run. Thanks Ryan!! I have been getting the best nights sleep of my entire life!!

Most channels have a search function on that channel's page. This channel used to have that option -- where I could search thru only the vids on this channel. Can we get that back?

I remember when Eric Clapton wrote the song Tears in Heaven, l think it was called, it was dedicated to his son. So sad.

Why do you sneeze so much when going through withdrawal? I'm 14 days clean today (yay) and there was a period of like 3 days when I couldn't stop sneezing! lol didn't know if it was a side effect or not.

Sunny Meg I sneezed 3 times in a row about 10 times a day for first 3 weeks, then I noticed i would only sneeze twice, finally I can say I sneeze once once in a while lol.. I guess it's a good way to track your progress imo lol
7 лет назад
Sunny Meg I sneezed like crazy also and during the first weed of withdrawal every time I sneezed I'd feel pain shoot down my arms via my veins but it only lasted the duration of the sneeze. it goes away after about 2 months generally.
