I catch onto that! He’s so seemingly childlike at moments. And the things he splurges on and has as hobbies. He always reminds me of those guys who did well in life and didn’t have much growing up, which I guess he is. But he always seems so super happy now on his own show.

99% of those lines are being fed to him by Sam. I think his line at 26:49 might be his though, which was pretty damn funny.

Towards the end Bobo says "What'd ya do, swallow a smoke machine?" Then Ant says "Boy you can really tell the difference." What Ant's referring to is the difference between the lines Bobo's being fed and Bobo's own off the cuff comments. Hilarious.

@@jeremygovender I agree people hated on Opie and now they hate on Sam I don't get it.. Sams the architect of October he always did a great job and I like how he's smarmy and sarcastic and causes trouble. I love that about him..

If ant never went on his rant, we could have seen sam slowly take over opies position. Possibly having the company ease the destroyer into retirement. I still hold that sam is what opie was supposed to be: the straight man and leader of the shows production. Opies "ship driving" was hindered by his history of being "slappy" and putting important tasks off on the interns. Sam puts alot of effort in, but he's not a talent on his own... Its hard to explain without getting too wordy, but the best way to really see it is jocktober. Sam parodies the clueless lawyer obeying PD, allowing Jim and ant to get some nice jabs in, and even giving opie a chance to be funny, by bringing up stories of past producers and their shenanigans. If sam could provide foil for opie, he could do anything... yet the opsters trucker buddies seem to think sam was actually a clueless pd type, and not making fun of them.
