***** It sucks. But I learned years ago that if you hold your breath it helps. If I hold my breath long enough the adrenaline will kick in and I’ll be able to move. Maybe it's just passing time until you can move naturally, but it keeps your mind off the panic.

Another trick that I've found work is try to wiggle your toes. Usually in 10 seconds it wakes you up

I can't say because I never open my eyes during the paralysis. Even if I did see some apparitions it could be my imagination getting the better of me. The idea alone of witnessing "some other" next to me bed is too frighting for me to even find out. I only started having the episodes after reading a lot about it. People who play with their dreaming should be very careful.

So True. Sleep paralysis is terrifying. I used to get it all the time in my late teens to early 20's and I would always hear evil whispering in my ear while it was happening, saying things I couldn't quite make out. Sure it is probably my mind playing tricks on me but for awhile I really thought my house was haunted and there was an evil ghost messing with me while I slept. LOL

I get those _all_ the fucking time (not about raping or killing people though, lol). But yeah you dream something horrible has happened, either something that's your fault or people blame you for, and you feel terrible and anxious, then you wake up and for a few seconds you still believe it to be real, then you realize "Holy shit - it wasn't real! I was dreaming! Everything's fine!" and it's the BEST fucking feeling in the world.

For me I'm like "OH GOSH I AINT GOING TO PRISON AMD I DIDNT HURT ANYONE THANK U GOD THANK YOUUU"

Yeah no matter what I do in sleep paralysis I can't do anything at all...... Something happened to me and I was WIDE AWAKE .

I only get sleep paralysis if I sleep on my back and I usually try to jolt myself awake it takes 3 or more to wake me up and every jolt feels like it takes everything I have to make happen and the more tired I am the worse it is I fell asleep in a hot car once I thought I was done for lol

geekrockrats yes I have. I have also revisited locations of previous dreams while dreaming, and able to recognize, in the state of dreaming, that I'd been there before.

Weenerhut its very strange isn't it. i often wake up, or remember a dream setting or theme that repeats, but will be unable to recall when i dreamt it. dreams are weird.

I'm from nyc and I have dreams of being on top of the wtc and and huge tsunami comes sometime the building is fine and other time I get knocked off and surf on debris

The first thing you're describing might of been like sleep apnea where you weren't breathing and lack of oxygen to your brain gave you that dream. The second thing is called lucid dreaming if you want to look it up.

I think I was awake when I felt like I was raising off the bed. I had sleep paralysis while it was happening, and I actually remember coming back to the bed and falling asleep.

Yeah, sleep paralysis, I used to get that when I was a kid. Apparently it's your brain stuck between sleep state and awake. Your consciousness is awake and aware but your muscles haven't 'engaged'. REM sleep kind of 'disables' your muscles to prevent you from acting out your dream actions. With sleepwalkers this is what isn't working properly. With sleep paralysis it's the opposite problem, your muscles don't 'reactivate' when you wake up so you end up just lied there terrified. It fixes itself after a few minutes, though.

I posted that comment before I got to the point in the video where they explain literally everything I just said lol.

E101ification It's cool. But, yeah I learned that's what happens. Some sites try to make it all mysterious like doctors don't know what causes it and it could be supernatural but that's shenanigans. The most recent this happened to me was during a thunderstorm in the middle of the night. One real close lightning strike probably woke me but I didn't completely come out of my REM.

I realized I was dreaming once by seeing an Anthony Cumia show sticker. It was the only brand name I could recognize and then realized I was dreaming

When Peopled Souls actually 'smell' (clairgustance , I believe) in their dreams, or in the astral, it's because of enhanced biochemical sequences, which is rare. Don't worry about pairing up with someone that might be 'right' for you in the short term or wrong for you in the long run, appreciate your uniqueness. Then hire a 'professional' next time you're in Vegas. Cure that fallible flaw called pity. Or 'go' to 'Vegas' in your lucid dreams - I used to have sex in my dreams all the time. Sleep specialists and psychologists use the term to identify a diverse range of bizarre phenomenon that they can't explain, including alien abduction experiences. It's a piss poor explanation for mysteries which could be explored better if the science community weren't so rigidly dogmatic. The brain, and the mind are so poorly understood, yet they toss out these terms and claim all is settled. The truth is that they really don't know shit, and are only going on guesses and leaps of faith themselves.
