Detective Patrick Kennedy and Dahmer documentary director Chris Thompson stop by to talk about Jeffery Dahmer. On the Aftershow, Sam & Bob Kelly speculate how the bumbling Sal could be a potential Dahmer.
To listen to The Opie & Anthony Show live, you'll have to travel back in time before Sirius XM fired co-host Anthony Cumia in the most cowardly fashion possible. An e-mail...pathetic. These plugs have sent plenty of subscribers to Sirius XM. No more.
If you're upset about Anthony's firing and want to do something about it, @GrovelingUSA & @OandAProtest on Twitter are your best sources for information since it's constantly evolving.
Should something happen to either mine or Steven's RU-vid accounts, we're on Twitter as @jasonayeiter & @steveyknight.

It's a massive shame Pat Kennedy died of a heart attack only a couple of months after this. I've listened to him on a few Dahmer documentaries and he was such a great storyteller, I could sit and listen to him talk about stuff like this all day. Shame this interview couldn't go longer and a shame he had die so young. RIP Pat.

***** Yeah, If I find anything I'll be sure to send it your way. Nice comment about Pat from the director of Jeff upon hearing of Pat Kennedy's passing: "Pat had an unforgettable sense of humor, an enormous heart and an enthusiasm for life that was incredibly rare and inspiring. He also routinely spoke about the importance of forgiveness, open-mindedness and empathy, which seemed surprising and courageous for a man whose line of work brought him face to face with so much danger & fear." He's right about forgiveness. You ever seen that footage of that man by the name of Rule rewiring Gary Ridgway's head by forgiving him for killing his daughter? Powerful stuff, that forgiveness.

By the end it turned into some sort of some inspirational story of the schizophrenic that beat Dahmer to death. We’re all glad Dahmer got what was coming to him, but to pretend the psychopath that did it was somehow the righteous hand of God. The creep was basically a slightly less creepy version of Dahmer. He was kicked out of school for being an alcoholic, kicked out of Job Corp then went back and murdered two people.

Scary to think Tracy Edwards wasnt pressing charges, and that this story could have kept going. I do think I read that Dahmer was being evicted, and im not sure how he would have disposed of the drum and other evidence during his move, but I suppose it was possible, and that many more young men would have died at the hands of Dahmer. Thank god he didnt hide those Polaroids better.
@sevimzdem
@sevimzdem Год назад
He was actually keeping the polaroids in a locked box. It was later when he completely lost control he didn't care anymore and became a mess. I believe it was either in his interrogation or during one of his talks with the psychiatrists he said that he would have destroyed all of the evidence for the eviction. But he also said that it would be very hard for him to part away from all of that. Since he was also planning to build an altar. Nevertheless to think he was that close to destroying all of the evidence and just leave the place completely in a month is CRAZY. He would have been never found or would have been found only after killing 15-or-some other men.

I can only imagine what it was like living in the area of the Oxford apartments at the time shortly before his arrest. The entire area smelling of rotting flesh and the Milwaukee police were too indifferent to do anything about it, they were too busy cracking racial jokes on their radios. Another reason why all police departments should be wiped out and replaced with something even better. I'm still pissed the city never set up the promised memorial to the 17 victims.

Are we 100% sure that Patrick Kennedy and Vincente Fox aren’t the same person?

When Tom Sizemore was told that Patrick Kennedy had died on the show (another show) he was proper gutted. He clearly did not know. I must admit, Patrick Kennedy is / was a great guest & a top bloke.

I had no idea about that change in his personality from straight to stereotypical acting. Nobody had ever mentioned that before.Very odd!
@harryzimmerman7991
@harryzimmerman7991 7 лет назад
that might have been his way of trying to start it all up again and looking for new victims but doing things his old way would been impossible, no privacy, who knows, but i read that when made it to general population he was having a hard time keeping those urges at bay and was taunting people,acting weird even cutting into his food in a provocative way that was freaking and pissing off the other inmates, I'm sure him getting killed was a inside job between the inmates and guards, they all wanted his ass gone!

His last victim which escaped from Dahmer and stopped the police asking them to take the cuffs off, told in his hearing that Dahmer had quite a few personality changes while he was with him. He was the shy, nice guy (we got to see in the interviews), completely out of his mind and focused on The Exorcist III (moving back and forth and sort of humming while watching the movie) but also violent and in rage as well as whiny like a child, laying his head on the victims chest, listening to his heartbeat and telling him that he would eat his heart later. Maybe Dahmer could not control these changes but maybe they were just part of his manipulative serial killer mind. Maybe he decided to play the mushy homosexual for the rest of his life? We don't know.

Is it that odd? I mean Kennedy and Murphy had close contact with him in the first six weeks after his arrest. After that, he spent a long time in solitary confinement, so who knows what effect it had on him. His drastic change in looks probably contributed to that impression as well. In the first six weeks after his arrest he was still looking sharp. In jail, he gained weight and became more nerdy-looking.

@SgtBaker16 Oh i guess Ant doesn't try to groom 14 year olds online then and jimmy doesn't rape chicks passed out from drinking too much alcohol then. My mistake. I'm tired of people shitting on Opie when they're two sexual predators that actually deserve hate. Thats worse than ANYTHING opie did on air

Fun fact, the guy who escaped and brought the cops was himself arrested shortly after due to the publicity, because he had a warrant on him for sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl.

Opie even ruined the rhythm of this interview. He clearly said one head. he ruins everything. Everything he chooses to say is always wrong and horribly timed and a non sequitur just slams on the brakes so weird it’s like a disease.

Great interview, so many details I didn’t hear on other accounts. The fighting with the cops, crying and telling him not to continue beating him. Plus, the series doesn’t suggest they; Tracy, had sex or Dahmer offer him money. Love the many little details, makes him more human. “Gone from a very straight acting gay male to a stereotypical almost flamboyant” what does this mean? His body language seemed like a regular male on the interviews.

one thing i never agree on is opies decision to skip on guests sometimes just to talk about a news story that they could talk about any other time. i think the guests should be priority over news, they have one shot at guests most of the time and usually they pass on them sometimes just to cover a news story and talk about it. id much rather hear the interviews because they talk about stuff the other half of the show anyways.
