Once O&A were in some kind of radio beef with some other show and one of the co-hosts of the other show told Opie he was “just a board op”. It’s segments like this that prove him right.
If Anthony and Jim had any balls instead of being groveling worms that are afraid of any kind of face to face confrontation or criticism, they would’ve checked him early on just like the rest of the Cellar comedians and their friends did. Worst thing that could happen to them is Opie either leaves or gets fired and Ant and Jimmy could’ve hired a board op to replace him. Ant and Jimmy are a big part of the blame for Opie being a spoiled “C”
@@MeltingBuddhaCandle after watching some of the earlier clips of the show again, there was definitely something that opie added. He brought structure and his somewhat dickish nature took some of the moments over the top in a good way. But as the show progressed he just became way too insecure and killed bits. after o and a the shows without him never reached that level of o and a before (just look at the jim and sam show)
Jim and Sam and Jess spent nights together. Jess wanted Sam to be more open about sex like Jimmy, so they invited Jim over for dinners. This caused a rift.
good damn, this was already unfunny, but a thousand 'door' sound effects were enough to actually anger me with how annoying they were. I am literally angry right now even though I realize I shouldn't be. edit: we're some of those effects added later? surely someone in the room would've told whoever was doing that to shut the fuck up. twice.
Poor Ant, due to his upbringing he is such a Racist Homophobe and poor Jimmy was molested by other children he is at Least half a submissive fruit. It's no surprise how unhappy and conflicted these two are.
