Some notes I didn't mention if the games get listed as fragmented use a free tool like defraggler it takes some time but once the usb is de-fragmented the game should run fine.
@@alfredoaguirre7130 If I had a linksys router I could be of help but most of mine are windstream and at&t routers... Your just gonna have to mess around in the settings and look for things similar to what is shown in the video sorry I couldn't be of much help but if you got a discord or a way of sending pictures I could try to see what is on the router.
I'm so glad my video was able to help you out I know this video was all over the place but I am glad it was able to help guide you through the process.
@@FallenSaint876 I would but each router has different settings or different page where the settings are. So for now its the best I could do if I wasn't using my raspberry pi 3 for anything I would show how it could be done using one of them and just upload a image file so it would be just plug and play.
omg i love you dude - bute i just want to note that leaving share, user and password empty did the trick for me idk why though but still you got me through this!
Opl manager will download the thumbnail art it been a bit but I think you need too make sure the title id is correct in order for the art to download and perhaps running opl manager with administer permissions may also help . I'll check out opl manager tomorrow to make sure its still able to grab art.
Could be a router limitation or the flash drive speed is being limited by the router. Also sometimes it can even be the ethernet cable itself I would replace each one then try again till you figure out what is causing it. Also it might help me out more if I knew what game there is a chance it is just that specific game but I would need to know.
I don't got all the routers by every company so I don't know. As long as the router has usb and supports smb sharing it will work out if you get to the router home page im sure it will tell you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also been thinking of doing another video on this in the future using a raspberry pi so that everyone has access to that specific hardware which would make for a easier to follow video.
I think you can in opl you can set how the game saves. I no longer got my slim so have not needed to use opl over my router any more since I have a phat ps2 now. If you cant find the option to swap save methods I can get on mine some time and see what it might be under. -Sorry for the late reply.
Not all routers play nice also make sure your using the right gateway ip address when your entering the network config in the opl program. If it's still failing try another router or check the settings also some routers you need to be plugged into the correct Ethernet port and also try another Ethernet cable just in case that is the issue.
