I'm glad they handled the opossum as gently as possible. They are some of the least offensive wildlife around -- namely, they much prefer to hiss, growl, scream, and bluff by showing off their impressive array of 50 teeth, instead of actually biting or fighting.

Guy did not have it! They were just casually doing their catwalk, living its best life making a fair play, appreciating the crowds for rooting it on, and checking if there are ticks, mice, ants, roaches, and other pests. Was doing their job and what he got? That's right, a humiliating escort of the field that was caught in camera. If I was in its place, I would be mad as well. But seriously, people tend to treat them bad because they aren’t the nicest looking animal, and the tail reminds them of a rat. But they are actually quite docile when left alone and they only live about a year or even two in the wild. Take some pity on the poor opossums. They don’t bother nobody...unless you're a pest.
