Coffee and donuts are very serious to law enforcement. Nothing else seems to matter. If I got caught speeding like that I would probably lose my license and if I killed someone I’d go to jail.

If it was an OPP that was hit, it would be a completely different story.

So they are admitting they had to call it "not serious" so they could deal with it informally while saying "Yea, we recognize that is was kind of serious but if we say that it is then we have to face consequences." Disgusting. Absolutely laughable that we are supposed to trust the OPP and feel protected by them.

Funny how the provincial police are taking lessons from the federal liberals. Reject, Deflect, Project.... this is the (liberal) way.

She should at least be fired and if she doesn't go to jail, she should have to get very strict conditions such as house arrest and frequent supervision

The Canadian government's approach, with its strict firearm rules and bans on items like pepper spray, seems to tip the scale towards overprotection. This kind of overreach can lead to inefficiencies in the system and even pave the way for corruption. As someone who's lived here for 30 years, I've seen this trend where ordinary folks end up paying the price. This isn't about Conservative versus Liberal; it's more about the nature of politics as a whole. It might also be a reflection of how we, as citizens, need to take things a lot more seriously.

There is an old expression the trouble with common sense is its not that common. This is a systemic problem that has to be addressed with an extreme firm stance. This is out of control and is a major part of the organisations image problem. They run stupid utube videos trying to change their image but continue along with their behaviour.
