Oppenheimer Is... (REVIEW) 

As a WWII historian, this film was an absolute blast throughout its 3 hour long runtime.

I genuinely had trouble sleeping last night because of that ending….. 10/10 movie!

As a History Nerd, I fully enjoyed the whole 3hrs of the movie. Which didn't feel like 3hrs. The Characters was compelling and complex. I am glad Nolan focus of the characters emotions and the dialogues. You definitely going to reflect after viewing our world and what can happen to it. History can repeat itself.

It was hilarious walking out of this movie, so depressed and then looking over to the theater next to us watching other people coming out after watching Barbie so happy

Oppenheimer is... Best Picture of the Year and for sure an Oscar-worthy film that'll get people to have the attention, I love this movie possibly my favorite movie of all time right up there on Schindler's List. Even watching it in IMAX was the best experience I had and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time including the bomb sequence that got my heart pounding in fear of the nuclear test.

Love the intro. Just saw the film last night, extraordinary, I really hope it bombs at the box offices (i mean, i hope it blows up)

As much as I'd like to see Nolan at his best and all the Oscar level acting...I just know the emotional toll will be too much for me. Thank you for talking about the point of the movie, how you felt as you walked out of the theater. This is a true horror story of humanity and we live with its legacy. You've valitated my position that if you aren't afraid by the end, you weren't paying attention. Congrats on the Rotten Tomato Critic, you deserve the recognition, you're a damn good film critic and I wish you nothing but the best, take care!

My issue with the film was just the direction they took with the editing constantly had me feeling like I wasn't watching a movie, rather a montage of scenes from a hypothetical Oppenheimer miniseries

As someone who enjoys Christopher Nolan Filmography, also as a Marvel/D.C Movie buff/filmmaker, I'm taking your word on it, since to compare his other works where, he did anything to accomplished his goals like Dunkirk recreate the war scenery, Sure not everyone won't get it, but those who do know the idealism of it, so yeah, when I watch in 70mm IMAX, the way he intended, I make to come back say what I will have to say

I remember Sophomore year learning about the Atomic Bomb and being so intrigue by Oppenheimer himself and reading and watching so many things about him even about the Manhattan project, so this really made me so happy to watch especially in 70mm IMAX.

I don't know really who this Is and the whole story of it. Could someone tell me bout it. Cause I want a backstory too know weather or not ill be interesting in seeing it?

I know I thought this movie's main focus was gonna be on the bomb and it really wasn't they dedicated like a couple minutes to the bomb exploded and then it was back to the story!

May not have been a credit scene for WWIII but they did set up the Cold War arc from the comics.

For me, it might be my favorite filmic experience I’ve ever had. Saw it on IMAX 70mm film. Before it started, our theater called out and gave thanks to the projectionist on hand. Getting to see a movie projected from actual film reels was such a rare, special pleasure. I loved it!

Anyone else have problems with a 70mm screening? My screening was rough.

I am an aspiring of filmmaker and fan Chris Nolan’s work but I been hesitant to spend money to see this. From what I heard it’s 3 hours long and it’s largely just long dialogue scenes and exposition. Nothing really exciting happens and my friend said like he was honestly bored. So I might wait for this to hit HBO Max.
