You see it in all his face offs where these guys have 5,6 inches on him. He’s literally up to their chins and they got mad reach on him and he still beats all these great fighters. Cormier is a champion.
Shit took my mother. Fuck cancer. I was at UFC Orlando when the memorialized Rumble on the jumbotron in the arena...it definitely got dusty in that mug... 😢
DC is one of the most underrated greats People don't think about it more but the only 2 people he ever lost to are literally the GOATs of their divisions(and he even beat one of them) But outside of that, he beat everyone and it often was dominated by him too
Honestly dc is overrated af He would have never held that the lhw belt if Jones was hungry and not stupid And he would have never been able to defend the hw belt if that super snoozefest decision went the opposite. He clearly losses to Fransis and got his fluke win over Stipe He was never the lhw champ if he was unable to beat jones
@@icecoldfire25 if can't beat the champ you can't be the champ and if you can't defend yo belt (against a ligit contender) you ain't no champ And y'all just copy paste the same comment on every viable arguable point
DC is not only one of the greats but he is one of the greatest people ever to put on the gloves. A legit good person. his bromance with Khabib is hilarious too.
Imagine if he started mma in his early twenties!🥶 I think he would’ve been the absolute GOAT, i highly respect him as a combat sport legend, he inspire me alot! Deserves more love and respect 🙌
The fighting business never disappoints when it comes to the highest quality mma videos, I’ve prob watched every single vid good job sir appreciate it🔥
DC is a legit GOAT He's an undersized LHW who still manage to grab HW belt Entered the UFC in his post prime age but still manage to get the double belts 🐐
Exactly. And at his age he only lost to the hw goat stipe and the lhw cheat coke jones. Jones is younger now than dc was when they first fought and people wanna say jones is old 💀
Once you cheat at this level.... it reveals your TRUE character. The rest is for the cameras. If he wasn't such a damn fool in his commentating.... talk about yourself some more please DC.
Top 10 he is underrated he is top 5 don't matter if you agree or not. Light heavyweight champion and heavyweight champion. That too at the same time. He was undefeated as the heavyweight champion at that time ...was also undefeated light heavyweight champion at that time too....was also the strike force heavyweight champion....was also an Olympic wrestler..was one of the best if not the best at one point in America. An announcer ...a great commentator....so many talents on top of talents
I would say IT IS WHAT IT IS with murder ma$e , Killa cam and stat baby is the best thing on YT right now. But this is definitely definitely top 5 / top 10. So I don’t mean to be argumentative. Just friendly banter 🙏🏼
Once the public really got to see what kind of person Daniel is he became a crowd favorite almost overnight. It was enjoyable watching a genuinely nice person who lives the way that we think he does, meaning it's not an act... being the guy that's also winning world titles. Also that uphill journey when everyone doubted him
I feel like the video ended so abruptly. The title should have been "The UFC before and after Daniel Cormier." Chronicling the changes that were made to the athletes because he was as good as he was. How he elevated the sport. And how the hate and resentment he got while fighting, changed into the beloved ambassador of the sport he is now, and continues to be.
@TFB or anybody. Why doesn’t there seem to be any legitimate commentary content of Francis Ngannou next move and/or what is actually going on over at the PFL? If I’ve just missed it, can any one send me some video recommendations?
My favorite part was when Stipe finally got his revenge in the trilogy for all the eye pokes in the first two fights 😂. Between them both they’ll be keeping the optometrist in business
For the longest time i thought he was when i didn’t watch ufc now that i watch it rewatch the old fights all the above i can confidently say Mighty Mouse is the goat
Jones is probably the most physically and mentally talented fighter at 205 but with the cheating and steroids he's not in the conversation in my opinion.
Daniel Cormier was amazing at getting inside. Even in his fights against Jon Jones and Stipe he managed to get past their reach and do a lot of damage inside. He's always going to be held back by the fact that he lost twice to Jones and Stipe. I know that one of the fights with Jones was a no contest but he got his ass kicked.
Love this video but, “Jon Jones was involved in a bad hit & run accident”? Several witnesses, including an off-duty police officer, identified the former UFC champion as the person who left the scene of the accident after the SUV struck and injured a pregnant woman. A search of the SUV revealed drug paraphernalia inside as well. According to the police report, witnesses saw a man fitting Jones' description leave the silver SUV that struck the woman's vehicle before stopping and returning to the car to grab a "large handful of cash." The man then "shoved the cash into his pants" and fled the scene.
love this guy's fighting performance and I'd put him in top 3 or 4. superb ambassador for the sport - honestly i think it's unfair the judgement by fans on DC vs silva. he convincingly got the win - wrestling - well it is mma so suck it up if ya don't like it!!
I never appreciated DC when I was younger. Saw him as a boring fat guy that would just wrestle. Crazy how your perspective changes as you age. Legend of the sport.
Good to see DC get his flowers long after his career. As time passes, more people are legitimising his legacy. The had no steroids issues, no bs, dominated most of his opponents, did what he did in his mid-30s, fought nothing but elite top 5 {except Volkan and he seprated himself from Volkan real quick}. When I saw his fights in UFC 187, 214 and all others, it was riddled with Jon Jones fans, who I think have grown up now. This dude is top 5 all time, an ambassador of the sport and such a fun dude to have around in the UFC.
Just a suggestion. For every opponent one faces with, a short video of their fight would be good, one without your comment, music. Too much commentary and editing makes the whole concept incomplete
DC is one of the fighters of all time! It's funny that DC complained about JJ eye poking, then he uses the hell out of that very same thing with Stipe to win the belt.
Everyone argues who's the #1 GOAT and DC ain't one of them but no one can claim to be the 2nd but DC himself only losing to one of the candidates of GOAT JBJ and the GOAT of Heavyweights Stipe
In a perfect world, DC would have beaten Jones. But destiny went in theother direction and hes still considered one of the greats so thst speaks for itself.
24:12 I hate to be that guy but DC isn’t the only male to defend both belts. Cejudo beat DJ for the flyweight title and defended it against Dillashaw. He then beat Marlon Moraes for the bantemweight title and defended it against Dominick Cruz.
One of the most impressive things that DC's ever done.......making 205! I know that he knows he couldn't do that now even if his life depended on it lmao 🤣
I legit feel bad for Cormier Imagine giving everything and sticking to your morals. Being the second best wrestler. Then coming to the UFC and beating everyone for years except one man, Jon Jones, who time after time tests positive... Jon Jones should never have been allowed to fight again. Its disgusting. To constantly use performance enhancers yet serve small fines and suspensions. Then to have people call him the GOAT.... Jon Jones took a lot from Cormier and should have had his reputation, GOAT status and finances destroyed after doing that to Cormier twice. Let alone all the other people he fought enhanced.. I would speak more about his reputation but he clearly destroyed that himself.
Eye pokes happen plenty of times and it had nothing to do with Stipe having a tendency of having his chin up on the disengage when clinching and he made adjustments
@@devil1994bruh have u seen the eyeball assassin Jon jones? Imagine a guy with 84 inch reach with outstretched fingers reaching for your corneas 💀💀💀 at least u could punch Daniel back. U wouldn’t even reach coke jones 😂
@@icecoldfire25 I'm talking about DC vs Stipe , not Jones. Agree with his Jones eye pokes too. But it doesn't change the fact DC won the HW belt by poking stipe's eyes.
