My parents were 26 years apart. He was white, and she was black. They were married only 9 years after Loving vs. Virginia. They were happy, loving, respectful of each other, and provided an example of what marriage really should be. My dad will always and forever be the love of my mother's life. I wish this couple the very best, and if my parents could make at a time where mixed relationships were not only rare, but one with that age gap was impossible to find, they can make it now. I'm not attracted to young men so when I first met my husband I know he's the one that will complete me. There's a 23 age difference it's hard because we don't have same culture since he's an American and I'm an Asian but we're happy. We love each other and respect each other. At your age, a lot or people start seeing their peers getting houses and getting married and they feel the need to rush things to keep up with them. I see nothing wrong about dating an older man as long as he's dating you despite of the age difference and not because of the age difference.

A lot of the women in these age gap relationships seem like naive little girls dating old men. She seems like a grown woman. I'm not as disturbed as with other cases.
I personally have always had better relationships with older guys. They take the time to please you, are better in bed, they are more appreciative, are more established, they know who they are and what they want out of life, have much less of an ego, are more knowledgeable and helpful, more mature and love you for you. Older men have this aura of responsibility, stability, confidence, which is VERY attractive to a woman who is looking for an actual relationship than a virtual Instagram relationship. The looks are important but it won't take precedence over the character because we all age and what we will be left with is the character not the appearance.
