I was curious to click because I know 10 minutes is too short to discuss the problematic behaviors of this woman. Hopefully, most of these talk show people have tons of skeletons in their closets (and openly on display).

Also pretty sure you dont just forget all your former training, education, and work history because you chose to be on TV.. It takes 10-15 years of education and training to become a forensic psychologist. You must earn a bachelor's degree, then a master's degree, followed by a doctorate. You must also work under the supervision of a licensed psychologist before earning your license. The specific state regulations vary. So let's not act like its just super easy to become a forensic psychologist, or like anyone can just randomly do it on a whim. Thats utterly ridiculous

I take Trulicity because I am an actual diabetic. It has brought my A1C down to 6.5 from 8 so I need it but it is constantly on back order because these people are using it for frivolous reasons and it makes me mad!
Being obese isnt frivolous and doctors are prescribing it. Here’s what pisses me off about all you diabetics: every single one of you is bitching about other people who validly need and are prescribed your same medication, who also have a disease, but not a single one of you is bitching about the drug companies who are intentionally making less of these medications so that they can keep prices up. Supply and demand yes? But sure. Let’s keep blaming other patients instead of who is at fault! In that case, as someone who is prescribed one of these medications for obesity, I blame all the diabetics for using up the drug I need to stay alive longer. If it works one way, then it works the other way around too. Keep letting big pharma go without blame tho! That’ll teach them and help things and improve the situation! 🙄

I see this as her being "Karashian like" in that she comes out with a much slimmer body, super tight clothes on, attributing it to hiking & diet discipline. I thought it was funny when you were talking about how shocking it was to see people speaking like that to each other on TV because I actually remember those times lol I might be dating myself a little bit here but it brought to mind the frog in a pot of boiling water trope. It happened so slowly that I didn’t even notice the culture shifting like that lol and now when I think back to how things were when I was a kid it is so shockingly and starkly different. I personally believe that a big part of these apologies being genuine is acknowledging that due to the hurt you’ve caused in the past, you no longer get to lead these conversations, no matter your current beliefs. Her story can still be important, and I think it’s one that should be told. But while showcasing people who have changed their mind is an integral part of any movement, you do not get to be the face of both opposing sides.

We've all done, or are currently doing shtty things. We all have skeletons in our closets. You *know* there is something you've done that you don't want anyone to find out about (Not you specifically, Spill Sech, I'm talking about ppl in general) yet we still sit on our high horses n look down on the ppl who have made mistakes. and it's usually small, insignificant things that are blown out of proportion, then we cancel them, but you know you've all done, or are doing something that would get YOU cancelled too. I know Oprah has been involved in horrible things, so I'm not sticking up for her, I'm just saying, cancelling someone is not only stupid n getting tired and old, but it's also hypocritical. I don’t trust her. She’s hiding something. With that being said this diet culture does suck. I went from being overweight to underweight and now I don’t eat. I just don’t. Like nothing sounds good to me ever 😢
