Interesting. There are 4 producers of the new Color Purple including Quincy Jones and Steven Spielberg but black folk zoom in on Oprah as though she financed the entire movie, negotiated all the contracts and made all the decisions. Then when Taraji posts on her Instagram page that she asked Oprah to intervene and she did which resolved the issue, the assumption is that she was forced to do so. Monique refused to promote her movie without additional pay. Whoopi told her that if she had called her, she could have schooled her.
