Actually, it's not because of the video. It's called persistence of vision: you can see the point even if it is not here anymore... and in green, because this is the complementary color... We can observe the exact same phenomenon with the skullhead in the end ^^

THAT SKULL THING BEST WORKS WHEN U STARE AT THE CROSS FOR 30 + secs and then look at something white , your wall for example and try to blink as much as you can repeatedly :)
