The principle of optimising your home environment for maximum comfort and efficiency of use, can help relieve the symptoms of chronic fatigue and pain, improve quality of life and save you energy. It's a good idea to go thorough your home, little by little, and see where you can make improvements. Even small tweaks can add up to a big difference. Here are a few things I've added around my own home.

these tips are really helpful! another small tip is to stick something fun to the ceiling (like glow in the dark stars, some calming shapes,...) if you have to lie and look at the ceiling a lot hehe also something i saw on tiktok that resonated with me recently is that you can always sit down to do your daily tasks! i never thought of that even though it's so obvious. brush hair? sit down. brushing teeth? sit down. making tea? sit down in the kitchen with a roller stool that help you move around. such a life changing mindset.

These are fantastic tips! It's a good reminder for me to make sure I've got somewhere to sit when doing my tasks. I love the stickers on the ceiling idea! Not only is it something interesting to look at, but it contributes to making your space a nice place to be. If you have to be stuck in a room, may as well make it pretty one!

Great video! Lots of good ideas. Maybe an ergonomic chair would allow me to sit at my desk and engage in my hobbies, mmm and I probably need a foot rest to keep legs raised. I’m with you on the latex pillow, anything else gives me a bad headache. Looking forward to your next video. If you ever want to do one on meals or meal prep, that’d be helpful too. It is a challenge to eat healthy when too many symptoms to remain upright for long.

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I find it much easier to sit up at a desk/table with a a chair that holds me up and has a bit of squish to it. I do have some videos on meal prep and healthy eating planned. It's so important to eat well when you have a chronic illness, but it's extra challenging because of all the fatigue, pain and other symptoms.
