I also have POTS, I just got a Tineco ifloor 3 for mother's day and omg it is game changing! It was on sale at Walmart for $200, it vacuums and mops hard floors at the same time! Cuts my job in half and leaves my floors so clean. I really recommend it for us suffering with chronic illness!
I adore my Miele vacuum. It’s European so the vacuum head and stick are separate from the main part (brain fog can’t remember the word lol) so it’s lighter and easier to use. It also has HEPA which is very important to me because I have asthma and allergies.
I have many chronic conditions, including server asthma and allergies. I have a list of requirements from my Allergist for my cleaning tools including unscented Swiffer products. I use the Swiffer dusters and the Swiffer dry mop cloths. I have a three-step floor cleaning routine; sweep, dry (Swiffer) mop, and then wet (spray) mop. I use washable pads for wet mop step and make most of my cleaners (so they are fragrance free). This cleans as well as the steam cleaner I use to use and I can even use with my walker when I need to use my walker. Should note though, I do not have tile floors. I have laminate wood and carpet in my apartment.
My new favorite cleaning product is the Bissel hard floor cleaner! It literally does the cleaning for you as it has 2 round mops that spin, so you just have to push it around! It cleans tile and hardwood too. My hardwood floors were the bain of my existence until I got this thing! Great video! Definitely going to pick some of that toilet bowl cleaner you discussed!
I loved this video! Fellow POTSie here, but I'm in a wheelchair. I've been dreaming of getting one of those Dyson vacuums. I do have a Roomba vacuum named Iris which I LOVE! My favorite cleaning product is my dishwasher. I hardly ever cooked before I got it. I got a smaller countertop model and had it installed under my sink. I love it.
I love my ENJO cleaning products! First of all, they are reusable and sustainable, and you only use water so they save money over time. They are ergonomic too. The mop is easy to use, no lugging heavy water buckets around. I love just grabbing the glove, cloth, and toilet cleaner with a spray bottle of water to clean the bathroom. Everything is lightweight 😊. The window cleaner is sooo fast and easy, even for outside windows because the extendable mop pole attaches. Of course, cleaning still takes energy, but it's faster and easier on the body with ENJO 😊. Plus, no chemicals to pollute the air in your home!
The backpack has been life changing for me haha! I used to have to bug my husband over and over again to carry laundry for me. Doing things on my own feels amazing!
Oh, thank you Aimee for giving me real life comparison point! I have only recently got sick and have found everything a bit of a struggle, but when I try to figure out how badly fatigued I am it is hard to rate it. I can not vacuum currently without kneeling. And then I can only do 10 min and I need to rest. I mop my floors also in a kneeling position, because it is safer. I can rest on the floor between. Luckily my place is very small (2 rooms only). When you slowly get worse you do not realize that things have gone well beyond normal. This kind of examples give poits of referral. It gives me confidence when I am describing my symptoms to somebody else (doctors!). This did give me an idea that I am not complaining without reason.
I got sick of lugging my vacuum cleaner around and it wasn’t getting up the cat hair so I eventually splurged on a Dyson V15. Absolutely brilliant vacuum. Lightweight and easy to move about, hair doesn’t get tangled in it and it has the best suction I have ever encountered. I wish I could find an easy way to clean out cat litter boxes 😩😸
We had a cat once too and it's soo hard! I've heard of automatic litter cleaners but I don't know if they work well. We never tried it! If I ever hear good reviews of one I'll let you know
@@Aimee_Esther Yes, automatic cat litter boxes do work really well if you get one which has good reviews. I see them in many youtube videos were people have multiple cats and they all seem so happy for them. Maybe you could check youtube videos for reviews too. The older versions had design problems, but new generation has them fixed.
This looks helpful but I hv so much spinal pain that this would do me in for sure. I’m trying the 1-2 medium loads a day technique. It’s not exactly the right plan though as I don’t have “good parts” of every day. I have days I can’t do anything. Blah blah blah, the perfect solution still eludes me.
If all same level you buy rolling landary basket. It huge help for my me illness. I so useful. Right now haul laundry up the street and I put back drive when wheel in and one the 2 homes aslo I like clean wipes in the bathroom and kitchen. But it must for my bathroom.
Does anyone know of a product that sweeps and mops at the same time? It takes so much energy to sweep first and then mop! I would love some type of steamer, lightweight….
