So many people just stealing and repeating the same stuff over and over again…..I have grown to hate 90% of the first descendent content creators

The actual soft cap is 20-25K def since doubling it at that point only gives around another 6% damage reduction and 20-25 is easily achievable with a single double defence memory+increase DEF and iron defence or spear&shield mods. If you go past that point you´re sacrificing an incredible amount of max hp (up to a 18k max hp difference depending on your build). So most descendants should usually go for 3xhp main stat and 1x def mainstat with 1 of each resistance in each piece (outside of void bosses where you only need 1 specific resistance) a single max shield sub-stat. This does obviously not apply to external component sets since they have fixed main stats that need to be worked with, which leads to some sets massively limiting your survivability in exchange for a solid bump to your damage or utility.

after about 25 to 30k defence, it get massive dimensioning returns. once you hit roughly 26k, you're far better off dumping the rest of your stats into either HP or shield, depending on who you're playing. Enzo is shield, and Valby is HP, for example...

I've seen the tests and its pretty convincing that there are diminishing returns with Defense past 25k that basically anybody but Ultimate Ajax right now should not go past. Now, if you're an Ult Ajax main like me, this whole test goes out the window because for other characters, getting up to 50-60k defense is about their maximum possible, so the differences between 25k and 50k is only another 25k which, with diminishing returns, just doesn't appear worth it when you could stack quite a bit more hp up to about 17-18k hp. With us Ult Ajax, we're capable of getting 140k+ defense and still having just shy of 30k hp if you go a general build, or 50k hp if you go a purely health build. Even with diminishing returns, we're talking about an additional 115k defense, not 25k so the returns are actually comparable. Currently, testing has been insufficient and inconclusive if going full HP or a balanced mix is superior as both seem to give very similar results when stats reach that height for Ult Ajax. For everybody else? Follow the advice already popular out there HP first, DEF second but both focused.

I agree with you but if you want to add a mod for resistances I would use the immunity mods only. They all share the same socket type and you ignore the secondary effects of the element. I have 4k resistance due to my external components so no need for the blue res mods only the immunity mods so I don't get frozen or damaged over time.

A useful tip I've leard to level up mastery rank in your weopens inventory their is weopens list and will tell you all the weopens which need proficiency levels if you have a weopen at level 1 by leveling this up will increase your mastery rank espically with experience boost to the weopen in addition also if you have a decendant which needs leveling up with a low level proficiency level weopen this will give a huge boost to leveling up mastery rank with the two combined

I agree 100% HP and defence always first espically aginst bosses I even tested against the final boss in campaign mode

Ajax main here, so actually the best build for Ajax now is 50k defence and 50k hp, its actually OP, shields never breaks, so stack defence is useless even for Ajax

Is any other TFD content creator going to point out that secretly a high defense is more of a bad luck thing cause it draws aggro towards you in a void boss battle? I can't tell you the amount of times I went in a void battle and had aggro on me for almost or more than a minute. Only way you going to get aggro off you in a void battle is by not attacking for some time. In all honesty in my truth, though snatching away aggro on a void boss is bad luck for you, but it's also good due to the fact even though you're playing sacrificial lamb, you're buying your teammates time to res someone who's down. Only sad thing is your bottom of the barrel, let me eat my hot cheetos and order uber eats, $0 on pump 5 teammates cause they don't even try to res you when you're down and when they do res you, they have aggro and by time you're up, you're down 2 seconds later Fun note: Elly upload vids faster than Asmon cleans his streaming area...but you didn't hear it from me. Blame the person you hate 😂

Literally just go hp def and res if you're doing group fights just to help resurrect when you're team goes down. Only pyro still does more damage to me when i try to match the same def stats compared to other bosses. It's the mfing burnn

And if you’re Ajax, go on and get 20k HP because tanky boi gotta tank. On another note: whoever green lit that the elemental resistances & elemental dmg modules are all different socket types needs to step on a Lego, WHY wouldn’t you make those all the same socket type!?, it’s a pain slotting those into builds because their all different sockets.

Bruh I don't care about the defense the only thing I know is to kill the enemy and nothing else but if you are like writing down the equations for the game then you can go for that route
