I have received many questions about the best way to assure a successful embryo transfer. What activities can I participate in following ET, how long do I have to wait, what can I do to help the embryo "stick", etc. Also, dealing with the dreaded 2-Week Wait between transfer and the first beta hCG pregnancy test. I love this! So true, the main key is to let go. We have no control over creating life. If the Lord wants baby to stick, baby will stick. :) Also the 2 week wait is basically what we go through every month when we are waiting to see if we are going to get our period. So just relax & let it happen. We will all be ok, no matter what.

Going through IVF now with my transfer set for 2 days from now. Wish I had found you early to listen at home while going through everything. Just today had my 1st IVF. Hearing patients were worried to pee out the embryo almost made me laugh as I thought exactly the same! Just an instant thought that enteredy mind! Of course I get it, its not possible, thanks for confirmation :) but looks like my husband is the one who will need to work on letting go. Love that quote. Good luck everyone on TWW🍀💕

God bless you! My doctor said NO SEX 😢until they hear a heartbeat. All the hormones are making my libido go crazy and I just couldn’t take it anymore. I was worried I screwed up by having sex day 7 after embryo transfer and again a day after my positive HCG test. I appreciate your advice. You helped not worry so much. I’m hoping my 2nd hcg will be good 🙏🏻

Thank you!! My Dr said their was a study where there were x number of embryos they took one group and had them jump up and down many times and another group who did not and there was no difference in the number of successful embryo implantation.. in other words the jumping up and down did not prevent or disable implantation. Now, of course she wouldn’t recommend you do that. But that information really gave me peace about the process..

Thank you! I’m a very active person and I just had my transfer last Thursday. I was on bed rest that day and somewhat the next day. But after that I felt like I was going crazy just sleeping, reading and watching videos all day. By Saturday I went for a 2 mile walk and moved so much that I did 17k steps and Sunday I went golfing for two hours and by that night I felt like I must’ve over worked my body and it’s not going to work. I cried and told my husband I must’ve done something wrong. And then today I took a pregnancy test (even though I told myself I wouldn’t) and it was negative. I was heart broken but I know it’s only been 4 days. Your video has given me so much comfort! Thank you so so much

I SO needed to hear this. I’m a super active person and have been for a really long time. I lost my first transfer and was SURE it was because I did some Moderate exercise. I just had my 2nd transfer and have been in my head about how not to F this one up. Hearing it really isn’t about me and it’s more about the embryo is JUST what I needed to hear ❤️

Hello! I honestly wish I could meet you in person and give you the world's biggest hug!!! Your words were so incredible and reassuring. This is exactly what I needed to see today!! In the middle of my 2ww - with no symptoms and just keep waking up feeling so defeated (especially when I did get pregnant with IUI I had symptoms immediately.) Hello I just did my embryo implants eight days ago and I don’t have any symptoms well I have a little bit of sore breast and a little bit of aching cramping on my left side but I’m not sure if it’s my period because I’m supposed to start tomorrow and I’m getting really stressed about it did you ever have any symptoms and how many days did it take to get the symptoms??

Im now on my first cycle of IVF and I have to say I sometimes find myself in my head just going through a numerous amount of scenarios. At times feeling like I got this and it’ll go smoothly and than other times feeling overwhelmed by the doctor visits, bloodwork and sonograms. I appreciate you doing this video, it’s very relevant now and you’re right, I come to the internet to seek information and support that I don’t want to force on others in my circle. I’m lucky I have my husband who is a nurse and is very patient and caring but this is a mental anguish on women. I want to be excited but not let my hopes give out if I get bad news. I’ll remain hope and I also hope everyone else that is going through an IVF procedures gets a chance to watch this video.

I really like your advice, down to earth. Speak from experience as a patient and as a nurse. It has been 5 days after IUI and surprisingly feel very calm and I am not going to do home test, as you said nothing can change what ever is going to happen. Even before I found you, I act like it is going to happen, I know being positive helps for every thing. I took a couple of days off just to take it easy and I was having back pain. I am over 40 and I know the chance is low, but who knows... what God has for me. Thanks for your honest advice.....

Thank God I found you! You said everything I needed to hear and more! Made me laugh and overall took a weight off my shoulders. I had my day 3 transfer this past Monday Jan 12th, this is our 2nd IVF attempt. Thank you for sharing the information. I'm in the 2 weeks wait now. I couldn't conceive because of thyroid problem. My doctor suggested me to go for IVF. I chose frozen embryo process as it has a really high success rate. I had a wonderful experience! I'm so happy about it!!

Also check out Supernatural Birth by Jackie Mize. She shares her real life experiences on conceiving and childbirth. It is an encouraging book. Stay away from negativity and rebuke fear cause fear is of the enemy. For God did not give us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind - 2 Timothy 1:7. 💕

I wish getting rid of the stress was easy. It is so far from easy when you are in the stages of infertility. To know that the stress could hurt our chances and knowing I cant really turn that part of myself off is impossibly hard and feeds the cycle.

failed cycle from not resting as well, but 2 good cycles from resting as much as possible horizontally 48 hours. I ate pineapple core and kept my stres extremely low. It isn't the same as natural conception. I feel like the rest lowers your stress after the shots and stress of the cycle, so I'd do it if possible. acupuncture was awesome too.

Ali Green I rest too. 3 out of 4 successes. The fourth I did not rest as much and unsuccessful. Who knows. But I'm in my mid forties it's different than 20 and 30 year olds who walk around like nothing happened.

I did my 5day FET 8 days ago in RMANJ and they told me not to do bed rest. They even gave me a sheet with a picture of the uterus facing down when you are laying down and it being horizontal when you are standing up.Good luck ladies! You are not sick, you are creating life!

@@misslove2lift exactly-i agree with you. That's why we have doctors/Specialists to help us. It is not that God doesn't want us to have children. What a nasty indictment on women having a hard time, to imply that God somehow doesn't desire people to have children. It's a biological problem, not an omen or divine restriction sentencing from on high. Unless someone is a fertility doctor AND God, they don't qualify to project what and why a family can't normally conceive. I wish people would think before they speak.

I am currently 2 days post a day 6 embryo transfer and although I was initially thinking I would wait for the beta, my mind was recently considering an at home pregnancy test in a week. Thank you for this. It was like PULLING TEETH from my Dr this IVF round when I asked if I can at least walk a few days after my delayed FET. He sort of froze. It's like he was obligated to state "well we recommend that you don't do anything like that (WALKING????) until your Beta." and I said "really?" and he responded "well, it's more of a mental thing" ---- he was implying that I might feel awful if I did "SOMETHING" during the TWW and didn't get a positive result. My issue is THIS: Why aren't the nurses and Dr's saying what YOU ARE as standard protocol??? Particularly in my case I had a delayed FET, so I didn't have swollen Ovaries, no bleeding....I was perfectly fine before the transfer! It's garbage. Are specialists opening themselves up for liability exposures if they state the TRUTH which you so elegantly explained? It's either going to work, or it's not. I have my beta in two days and my fingers are crossed. But my realistic view of the situation has made my countless TWW's a little more tolerable. Thank You again for all that you do!!

So different to all the other websites where conflicting, unproven advice raises stress levels. I have done my embryos transfer on 5/11/20 have done Pt came out negative twice I know it’s too soon but I don’t want to give up hope once I done the beta it’s reality the results pray 4 me everything go’s well . I’m not young no more .

This way so helpful and made me laugh so hard- go make crop circles on a Tuesday 😂 I’m two days out from my transfer and I’m walking around like I’m a China cabinet with delicate crystal inside. It’s not fun. But this helped 💜

Thank you so much. I got 9 eggs out yesterday and I’m now waiting to hear about fertilisation and I’m researching what I can do as statistics say I’ll only get 1-3 viable blastocysts and I don’t want to waste them. But I realised that the worry is effecting me more. I think I’ll just go get a massage instead of panicking lol.

I did my egg retrieval and got 9 eggs a out as well. How many viable blastocyst did you end up with ?

@@LovelyAwesomePerson none in the end because the eggs were taken too early. :/ they say about 1/4 would make it to that stage usually xx good luck xxx

@@amberamber100 wow! Sorry to hear. You’re the second person that I know of whose had that in experience. The eggs should be taken when follicles are between 18-22mm at least 3 of them.. those are considered mature. Hopefully I get good news In 5 days .. sending love and light

this was super helpful prior to my transfer. it took! but I had a chemical loss. I rested the 1st day and day #2 I went to the beach :) only lost because dr didnt have me on high enough estrogen
