How are you planning to press the two beams together against the bottom cube at the bottom of the intake so when the lift goes up, the cubes don't fall out?

The cube tube will open and close like a claw with a motor. (I am part of this channe;, this is my main channel)

We moved on from this design a while ago (I am part of this channel) so I don't really remember all of it but I think it's a c-channel with sanded down black spacers mounted on screws with a half-cut c-channel sliding on the spacers as rollers.
