Bruh, Q was the only one to die on the auto bot side. Then you hundreds of thousands to die on the deception side (This is not including cementary wind)
Btw when megatron showed up to save Optimus all he was asking for was a truce so that he could be in charge again. If he wanted to kill Optimus and sentinel there he easily could’ve. Unfortunately for megatron Optimus remembered the forest. Also fun fact the reason why megatron lost that standoff was because he didn’t cock his shotgun after shooting sentinel so he panicked when he tried to shoot but it didn’t work, and you know this is true because after he dies Optimus picks up his gun and immediately cocks it.
Actually Megatron had one shot left but as you said he panicked and missed it because he was weak at this point and I guess he didn't expect Optimus to attack him so quickly
@@JewelzTheEmeraldGod oh I didn’t see the gunshot (Michael bay films be like that) but I really don’t think megatron was planning to fight at all there
@@TomyrisTK gotta say, it's hilarious how he thought Prime would be all fine and dandy letting him walk away with a truce after all the shit he pulled over the course of the three movies. Sentinel destroying Chicago and nearly enslaving the earth was a DIRECT RESULT of Megatron's actions, so I don't know what made Megatron think Prime would just let him leave.
@@optisprimusproductions Well first off his name is Sideswipe, Sideways is a different guy. And second he did not get by the Rust gun, Sentinel didn't even have it out
Considering that Sentinel committed treason, betrayed everything he stood for, responsible for the deaths of thousands as a show of force, and planned to enslave billions, it's pretty deserved.
It’s even more brutal in the IDW comic version of DoTM where Optimus uses Sentinel’s cosmic rust cannon to kill Sentient Prime. That’s right, the cosmic rust cannon that was used to kill Ironhide
Optimus is so passive until someone pisses him off, at that point, very few people can match him one on one, sentinel being one of the few, seeing as how he was the one who taught optimus most of what he knows
Bruh..... he defeated optimus in a 1v1 face to face, survived sideswipe ratchet bee and optimus at the same time, ironhide is a strong character definetly top 10 in the whole 5 films but cmon yall are dickriding at this point the only thing ironhide could do there was just hold him off for a while with his weapons and retreat himself and the others autobots from that red maniac and you know damn well aint no lies in what ive said
I always find it funny that both Megatron and Sentinel just say the absolute wrong things to say in that situation. "Who would you be without me, Prime?" Shit, I don't know. Probably a lot more relaxed and happier on our home planet which would still look nice if it weren't for you. "You must see why I had to betray you" Yeah near a good hundreds of years ago you was working with the damn enemy leaving me In charge of a system you abandoned and killing members of my damn squad OH and let's not forget the arm of mine on the floor right now...yeah Sentinel I see your damn reasons.
So many people overlook Sentinel teaching Optimus "freedom is the right of all sentient beings" and then trying to enslave an entire planet because he wants to feel like a god. He deserved to get shot, especially after trying to justify himself.
The weirdest part? In the first version, Megatron said 'who would you be without me, prime?' in a more sincere way, having them both be in a truce and kill off sentinel, going their separate ways. But because of a leak, we didn't get that.
Sentinel spent most of the fight hiding behind a massive shield, calling for backup, running away, and even admitted Optimus was the bravest of the Autobots in doing so. Sentinel isn't anywhere CLOSE to being Him.
Like Megatron in the 2nd movie, Sentinel got a few shots in but Prime was him and was winning, then Sentiel had to call reinforcements while running which caused the tides to turn. Man, even in the bayverse they all believed in the idea of jumping in groups cause they can't 1v1
In the original version of the movie Megatron would go full in on his truce but Optimus just give him a short paragraph of "how the am I suppose to believe and trust you after the death and destruction you've caused?". And the Megatron just straight up is like "honestly I don't I don't care im just tired" and just drives off. So yeah we got here in the final version is more satisfying and enjoyable
@@jfoster8624 was the COLDEST LINE from optimus we ever heard so so I dont mind. Plus Meg was on his last legs anyway. Bro lost threat status which is why he even pulled up on Sentinel
@@jfoster8624 well personally I like this ending better because it makes more sense not just in character for Optimus but also because who the hell would ever trust Megatron offering a truce, just the sound of it makes it seem like a trap
@@IronKnightPrime prime ending the war but staying on earth while Megatron leaves for Cybertron is a good deal the original ending was better for the characters and makes more sense than Megatron just getting himself killed and prime murdering both of them in cold blood is horrible for his character imo makes him no better than the monsters he's fighting
2:47 Honestly this small clip here is the reason why Sentinel won the fight. Optimus always goes for the head as it's the easiest way to kill an opponent. But Sentinel's head is soo armored that his blades do nothing to him. Actually, throughout the entire fight, Optimus's blades could not cut him. Bro could not win ☠️ Also did anyone notice how the firing sound for Megatron's shotgun changed while Optimus was holding it? 😂
"Optimus always goes for the head [...] But Sentinel's head is soo armored" And that's why he could only kill him after Megatron beat the helmet off of Sentinel beforehand. You're welcome, Optimus
I think, Optimus just couldn't land his hits on Sentinel because he was so blinded by his rage. His mentor has done so much wrong by this point, Optimus is so pissed off that he forgets how to strike properly. When Sentinel is open and isn't protected by his shield, Optimus could have landed two successful hits, but he just slides his sword near Sentinel's shoulder and that's why Sentinel was able to react in time and disarm Optimus
@@Semenov_Kirill Sentinel's weapons in general are also a huge part of why he won. The shield covered most of his body and tanked every hit that would've otherwise been lethal, and the sword was just so damn big that Optimus simply couldn't close the gap.
Sentinel had all the Autobots that were left plus N. E. S. T all coming down on him and he was still winning! All it took was Megatron's busted ass to be in his feelings over what a white girl said to even things out 😭
"Get down here, Sentinel!" "Optimus, you forget your place" *Supervillain landing* "Optimus, I gave you Cybertron, your home! And still you choose humanity." *Prime gearing up* "You were the one that taught me that freedom is in everyone's right."
The entire Chicago battle was the best thing to witness in transformers history. No other even in any other transformers media including 1st generation even comes close to this battle. The best final act in all of transformers. The action, the tension, the great dynamic between optimus and sentinel. There will never be another event that comes close to this great battle. The entire Chicago battle was just a masterpiece of action.
I'm fine with it, and I also know in the novelization of the movie they actually form the truce and jump sentinel at the end and I'm also cool with that
I appreciate that you mention that sentinel doesn’t have prime in his name for no reason. I haven’t seen anyone mention how he truly held his own especially while getting jumped
The coldest part to me is the axe throw. What y’all got to understand is that optimus picked up the axe tossed that axe while getting up and hit megatron dead in his chest. Have y’all went axe throwing before; I promise you it ain’t as easy as it looks. The throw might look good but getting it to stick is the hardest part. Not to mention optimus did that with ease and with one arm, no practice, the goat.🐐
Closer examination of 5:12 shows that he didn't _stab_ Megatron with his axe. *Optimus fucking threw it.* You're damn right about him being mad about the forest.
Sentinel Prime is canonically a racist in the Bayverse. He killed Ironhide because Ironhide was the spokesman of the Thetacons, a group of tribal Cybertronians who opposed Sentinel's leadership, and Sentinel was not fond of having his rule undermined by a group of tribal Cybertronians.
Gotta do a vid on prime landing and killing all those cons and shockwave. Or maybe just a vid about Optimus and his jet pack mode in general. Cause when bro puts that pack on he’s a menace.
Sentinel was just jump-proof against his own kind. He was kicking the crap of the autobots and it took two third-parties catching him by surprise to take away his plot armor for optimus to finish
They way Optimus executes sentinel is the most satisfying thing I've ever seen on film. He double tapped him just to make sure. Also, killing Megatron with one arm after the forest fight was hard. When the autobots faked their deaths and came back to save Sam, that was one of the hardest scenes in the franchise.
You got to do Prime and Deadlock best fight probably better than the forest fight honestly Edit: it actually call lockdown Idk why I keep calling lockdown as deadlock 😂
Honestly, I think this version of Bayverse Optimus gets defeated by Bayverse Sentinel, if Megatron was still on Sentinel's side, Optimus would pretty much die.
Sentinel really only won because of his big ass shield and his big ass sword. The sword gave him distance and the shield covers like, his entire body. Every hit that Optimus landed seemed to stagger Sentinel pretty badly and even dude who made this video acknowledges that the shield was the only thing keeping him in the fight. If they went bare handed or only had their blades, Optimus would lay him out.
In the novelization of the movie or a comic I don't remember which one it's said that sentinel even on Cybertron never really like that race of cybertronians ironhide was apart of, so seeing what he did in the movie again hits a lil harder knowing it was race realated
Awesome video but come on man, so you not gonna talk about the part when optimus first comes to the fight by killing 8 decpticons in 3 seconds as well as brutaly killing shockwave. But either than that great video
What Optimus did to Megatron felt illegal to watch, Megatron saved his life but spit on his honor and Optimus was not about to let that slide. WITH ONE ARM!!!!!!
No he wasn’t. Lockdown had disarmed Prime of his sword and the only time Optimus had the advantage was when he tripped Lockdown over so he could help Cade.
@Cullub Bowzer Lockdown shot the sword out of Optimus's hands but Optimus quite literally had Lockdown on his ass at 90 degrees before Cade got cornered and cost Optimus the fight
@@mercury2157 All Optimus had done was trip Lockdown over. It was clearly shown in that battle as well as previous fights that Lockdown was the superior warrior. This is the guy who took down the Dinobots after all.
I still remember it like yesterday, seeing everyone argue over who was on the ship when the reveal trailer first came out. Most people said it was Sentinel since he's orange, I thought it was Alpha because of the beard, but yeah as we know it turned out to be Sentinel.
