I hate how they tried to make Optimus one of the reincarnated 13. It takes away from the character by making him basically divine. I prefer it when Optimus is just a random records clerk/policeman who rose to the occasion and became a Prime. It shows that the Matrix/Primehood can be earned by anyone

Say what you like, but Megatron won more duels against Optimus in TFP, including at the end against Optimus 2.0, Megatron managed to defeat him being at a total disadvantage.
Optimus would've killed megatron in one shall fall even when he was powered up by DE and only lost due to a massive power surge given to megatron and large exposure to DE(The vid says base btw so no DE)

The first fight Megatron was amped due to dark Energon. He even states that he wad infused with his zombie army’s very might. It’s the reason why he even survived the space bridge explosion in the first place. In their second fight Optimus won blatantly. Megatron did not die due to the Dark Energon in the earth and the more dark Energon Megatron has access to the stronger he gets. Also Optimus is getting weaker during the fight as he did not have an immunity to it and like we saw with Arcee it is debilitating substance to anyone he isn’t use to it’s effects. So Megatron was getting stronger throughout the fight while Optimus got weaker and he still lost only being saved due to the Volcano. In their third fight, Optimus’ star saber broke which is why he lost the duel. In their fourth and fifth fight Optimus one shot Megatron with an upgraded star saber that wouldn’t break with their fifth fight cutting Megatron’s arm off. Sixth time, Optimus 2.0 blatantly beats Megatron and even performs better against predaking than Megatron did. Their last fight in the show, Megatron had the dark star saber and even then almost lost, of Optimus had HIS star saber, Megatron would’ve been destroyed.
@@DT25659 the star saber broke because it is weaker then megatrons' that's not an excuse to why he lost in the third fight. And obviously optimus 2.0 would be stronger than an unupgraded megatron. If this fight is without dark energon, this video is accurate, only that battle iq and durability goes to megatron. If its with, megatron wins high-extreme diff. You guys are overrating optimus hard when megatron won almost every encounter in the show.
@@anjanarajeev2079 Everytime Optimus and Megatron are at an even footing (Megatron isn’t amped) Optimus floors him. Even Ratchet has straight out exposed the fact that Optimus could’ve killed Megatron many times in the past but didn’t do it for a reason. Optimus and Megatron’s fight near the Volcano was genuinely the first time Optimus fought blood lusted and he won that fight fair and square (Megatron was still amped too). It isn’t till he gets an even bigger amp when the volcano explodes (even bigger than the one in the space bridge) that Optimus loses. As soon as Optimus’ star saber was as strong as Megatron’s Optimus beats him. He sends him flying the first time and cuts his arm off the second time.
W edit, Also for the people that don't know, optimus is one of the thirtheen original primes but after the defeat of unicron he got reincarnated into orion pax.
Combat, skills and battle iq should go to megatron. He was a miner who then became the most powerful gladiator in kaon and probably in cybertron as a whole. While Optimus was only a librarian and just had a buff with the matrix, but mostly in terms of power and not entirely his combat abilities.

@@SupremeB_07 Nope, the matrix is a HUGE advantage, it gives extreme combat skill. For example, in the final episode of Orion pax, when jack used the keycard(which contained the equivalent of the power of the matrix) on Optimus, as soon as the matrix was back in him, he proceeded to beat up megatron, which as we saw, didn’t work out before hand. So yes, it’s a ridiculously overpowered advantage
@@Zack-yv1sb no it’s not, Orion pax had the capabilities of Optimus prime, but he remembered nothing because his memories were inside the matrix, although he did possessed the same strength, speed , agility, and durability… he didn’t have the same mindset or battle iq

Optimus and megatron have both been equal in strength whenever they fought even while megatron had dark energon and during their first saber battle optimus overpowered megatron even with an injured arm plus megatron had the arm of liege maximo which likely would've given him extra strength. Do not confuse durability for endurance and DE saved megatrons but a lot this is base btw
@@ERROR48942 clearly you didnt watch TFP. Megatron was a fighter in the Pits of Kaon when Optimus Prime was Originally Orian Pax, So Megatron clearly has a lot of Battle IQ. Ratchet even called him a "Gladiator" during his explanation to Raph, Miko, and Jack.
@@xShatteredWorlds Just because he was a gladiator doesn't mean he automatically get battle iq as many times megatron charges in and stated against predaking that he was a champion due to his strength and cunning. Megatron relies on his experience in battle while optimus either adapts or learns from past experiences

Skills and Combat to Megatron Yes optimus has the so called “Knowledge” of the matrix, and the fact that he get’s beaten up all the time and needs plot armor to win makes me think he doesn’t have combat skill and he was nothing but a nerd before he became a prime megatron was a gladiator
In the fight like all shall fall they were shown to have equal combat and skills and the reason optimus gets beat around a lot like vs dreadwing is cause he felt bad for the death of skyquake aka dreadwings twin brother and was holding back
Man they are equal in phyiscall strength i dont know why people think one is stronger than another just because of litle moments of owerpowering echoter in 2 seconds.One moment prime is stronger second is megatron but,other than that they are equal

Combat would be go to Megatron because he is a glory gladiator and I do always think a Gladiator has better combat rather than a soldier. Then, BIQ would also go to Megatron because he is a gladitor. Whenever they fight they have equal strength and in most cases optimus overpowers megatron and they have shown to have equal combat skills while for battle iq optimus uses his resources and knowledge of his opponent while megatron just relies on his battle experience and charges in most the time
