That would be awesome, I want to go into the movie knowing nothing. I understand going thru theories, but the problem is with so many different theories coming out, some are bound to be close, and then when you see the movie, your gonna be like "Oh we saw that coming in the theory breakdown I saw". A movie like this should show very little before it's in theaters
As far as I understand all the footage in the trailers is at best from the first half of the movie. That means we have absolutely no clue where it will go.
I dig their philosophy on ending and focusing on the story at hand. Characterization is easily sacrificed when movies try setting up the future. After 11 years of film, the focus needs to be on the character send offs. That imo is more important than theory crafting about who the next “big bad” will be. So it’s nice to hear that that was their mindset.
I can't even comprehend on why film makers think that kind of way will make a film good for fuck sake. This is why The Amazing Spiderman 2, Age Of Ultron and Batman v Superman were garbage.

Yes, but they're a dumbass cuz they show the movie to a Seul public instead of show the movie to all the world the same day. Russo Brothers are good keeping secrets but this time they just didn't think that a Seul fans would leak scenes from Endgame.

It feels like Endgame is going to have the most teamwork involved since the first Avengers. Sure infinity war had tons of characters working together, but they're all separated. Because of the snap and everyone gone, I think Endgame will center around everyone working together seriously

Thank you! I agree with the Russo's about their view on spoilers. Props to Marvel Studios as well for the way they put misdirections in their trailers that don't make the viewers feel like they were lied to but still preserving the feel of the movie. These days, I just watch the first trailer then I stay away from any news or trailers before seeing the movie.
In Infinity War the villian is actually the hero... in End Game the plot wont be about a fight it will focus on the characters themselves and one to another .
@Brian Wrong, your confusing hero with protagonist. See a protagonist doesn't have to he the hero a protagonist is the main character or the characterwe see the story through his pov, it's just that more often than not in stories heroes are chosen as the protagonists for obvious reasons. In Infinity War the protagonist (main character) was Thanos, he earned the most screentime and the story was told from his perspective so he's a villanous protagonists. The Avengers and other non-Avenger heroes are the (antagonists) characters who are considered roadblocks to the main character's goal and oppose said goal, but they're heroic antagonists as they're literally trying to stop genocide. Avengers Endgame will be the opposite it will feature heroic protagonists (the OG Avengers) as for the antagonist I'm not even sure if Thanos will have a big role in this one. Also a villain having flawed logic and reasoning is part of what makes them a villain and adds layers to sympathetic villains like Thanos because you understand why they have to do what they're doing but you're not fully agreeing with their logic. Also doubling the resources is just as flawed a solution as wiping half the population as people would consume the resources twice the rate they used to achieving nothing at the end.

While they're both pretty irreverent guys, it's become quite clear after following them as long as I have (don't forget, also major architects on two of the greatest pieces of comedy on television of the last few decades, Arrested Development and Community) that Joe is absolutely the more outspoken and sort of proudly devious in that family. Anthony is typically a bit more diplomatic and deliberate.
@@kevinw712 After watching their interviews for all their MCU movies I came to a similar conclusion. And you know what's funny is that despite being younger, Joe looks 10 years older than Anthony.
The movies that I have enjoyed most were the ones I hadn't watched the trailers for or knew pretty much nothing about. Now, I know this is really hard to do - a lot of the time it was more so by accident than by purpose that I ended up watching those movies. I know it's a gamble, but if one can find some motivation to watch the movie (cast, director, cinematographer, etc.), then one should go in knowing as little about the movie as possible, to be fully immersed.
DC just needs to tell deeper stories. They have some of the biggest comic characters and yet they spend their time trying to copy Marvel's formula rather than tell great stories. If they quit viewing movies as dollar signs only, and concentrate on the story, they would do great. But they don't, sadly. 😔 I too would love to see great movies from them.
Also it's hard to watch Spiderman cos he is ovbiously still a kid. He can't understand and isn't used to events like the snap as much as the others. So for him it's the end. He's an earthly being whos still in school

The Russo Brothers will go down as some of the best directors of all time. They're just so damn talented and their expertise on filmmaking is so freakin' impressive
from this interview i can conclude the following 1) there will be a huge tragic scene in the Endgame , because when Spider-Man death scene in been told by Joe , he became emotional 2) Endgame will be bigger in action and in every thing than any other movie due to frequent pleasure and happy faces the directors gave to people and each other 3)This may be there last marvel movie and they mention it in other interviews and if they going to come back , they will for a bigger movie which they mentioned "Secret Wars" I thanked Christopher Nolan and James Mangold for ending batman and wolverine arc so well , i guess i will be thanking The Russo too .......
How did Civil War get a higher score than Infinity War.. Heck how did the first Avengers and Homecoming get higher scores?! Infinity War broke box office records and became the most talked about Marvel movie ever made leading to the most anticipated superhero movie of all time (Endgame). So.. how does Infinity War only get an 85% when the other films didn't come close to impacting people the same way??
Besides Kevin Feige, Russo Brothers are probably the best thing that ever happened to MCU. They may not be the most knowledgable people about these comic book characters, but the characters they present on the big screen are just so vivid and faithful to their comic book counterparts its incredible. More importantly, they completely got rid of the "popcorn" brand that marvel movies usually have by comic movie masterpiece like winter soldier, civil war and infinity war.
Really was cool to only find out a movie was coming out in theaters a yr later was to go to the theaters and see the supper big poster or cardboard cut out of the promo pics. Those were the days.

I’ve actually been trying to not spoil a single thing for myself concerning Endgame. I haven’t even seen a trailer. I’m hoping I can make it to when I have the chance to see it myself.
The most hyped film worldwide of all time. I can't get my head around how big this has become. I remember skipping Iron Man in 2008 cause i thought it would be bad and cringy like other mid 00s marvel movies. I only started paying attention around 2011
I mean I get it with movies like Civil War or even GOTG Vol 1 (to an extent) but I still don't know how more people recommended Thor Ragnarok and Homecoming than Infinity War.
I love what the Russos have done with the MCU. They did a better interpretation of Thor than 3 Thor movies did. The only difference I'd make in Infinity War would be that when Thor arrives in Wakanda, I would've played "Immigrant Song." :) Everyone else's theme song played throughout the movie, so I now attribute that song with Thor.
Idk if this is gonna happen but I think that all the original avengers might die. Or atleast the core ones. Imagine how heart breaking that would be. And they've been pushing the theme that this is their last movie

The Russo's have more than likely withheld some key moments in the trailer or even faked some scenes, but the 3 strongest characters are noticeably absent from what appears to be the 2nd or 3rd act. I've a theory that (potential spoilers?) the gang try and stop thanos in the first act of the movie, and everyone will be involved, but Thanos (or maybe someone else - I"m kinda hoping we might see Hella again) will kill Cap. Marvel, Thor, and the Hulk/banner. These 3 arent really in the scenes with the red/white suits. There is a mystery hand, so it might be one of them. The Avengers will be completely devastated and hopeless from this initial loss until they try again when antman and hawkeye show up.
Since Thanos smiles at the end of Avengers 1, 2, & 3. I’m highly guessing he’ll live through this movie to save him for future movies as a Hannibal Lector-style, Dr. Evil-style, Neegan-style person who they will consult about an enemy who will come around on Avengers 5, 6, or 7, etc..etc..plus if they do kill off Thanos, it’ll be a bad move financial-wise on Disney’s part. We all know Disney loves their money.

I auditioned for the Russo Brothers for a new movie and they are producing Last year. It was such a cool opportunity. It sucks the casting director was not very nice. I told her I don’t read Arabic but I can speak it fluently she said I can do the audition in English and then in Arabic. She changed up everything last minute which is normal in this business. PS fuck rotten tomatoes 85% that’s bullshit!
