2:47 what do you mean with that you have to adjust from now and again? do you mean due to pad wear you need to adjust lever? I read that this would not be necessary, but I also read that it would not be on shimano, but I had wandering bite point, and leaking seals, 5 brakes out of 4 sets leaked, ridiculous. I am currently using dual piston TRP Spyke mechanical brakes. But I am keen on trying four piston brakes, which I haven't owned yet.
I'm currently looking for the same bike. Can I ask how u feel the suspension works on rough ground while braking etc? I've read there is a lot of pedal kickback & harshness to the ride. Did u find this too?
Hugely exaggerated. In fact when I took this to the Alps riding it was by far more stable than my dw link ibis and the cube stereo I currently have. I would recommend a coil shock though.
@@ab_mtb on the older orange 5 I had pedal Bob was significant out of the saddle. First thing I noticed on the alpine 6 was the Bob was not an issue anymore due to the new pivot location but more importantly the huge jump in rear shock performance. Even with the air shock I never used the climb switch. The Alpine 6 is the best bike I've owned.
