This occurs every couple of months and is infuriating! I live in scotland where you do not need to descale anything and every time this pops up I can't remember the counterintuitive procedure to start the descaling process and have to watch your youtube video! Thank god you put this up or the coffee machine would have been out the window a few years ago. I'll be avoiding Delonghi in the future!

This is EXACTLY was my situation. Unfortunately it did not work for me and it is still flashing orange. After doing as suggested, it then Flashes white on the left display, flashes twice on the middle display, flashes twice on the 3rd display (all white flashes.) does this a couple of time but then goes back back to the orange. So frustrating!! I went back and watched the video 3 or 4 more times, then had someone else try it… still the orange light Any thoughts
This video lead me to a solution to this niggling problem. I have had this annoying blinking light for 3 months and it was driving me bonkers. Pressing the button did not help. After reading some of the comments I decided to try one more descaling. This time I filled the tank right to the rim both times. That did the trick! I must not have filled the tank to the top previously and the machine was waiting for a few more ml of water to finish the program. Thanks everyone for posting.
You are an absolute legend, I’ve been descaling descaling for over an hour. I was about to call up and get the machine handed back under warranty…in then I realised nothing online…Nothing in the instruction booklet nothing in any help files and I went to the good old RU-vid, where I’m also content provider. And I found this friggin awesome video of yours !!! and your explanation which was first class. This is the best hack / modification fix that the instruction book should have it in it seriously is a major fault by the company. The machine itself is flawless, but the instruction book that really missed out important final step, or the manufacturer of the water jug reservoir had a bad design fault with the water at the bottom caught ….. Nevertheless, it worked work like a dream. Thanks matey :) i’d love to know how you worked this out, or did someone tell you or you just fluked it 😊 because this is one best problem-solving fixes ever … brilliant work ⭐️⭐️⭐️ …. @@paulb9769 no, this model of tyre is discontinued, well renamed and is a different tyre now. This video is quite old, there weren't many gravel tyres at the time. I recommend the specialized pathfinder pro out of all I've tried

We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
