I heard that they felt so bad that they put in the training staff and stadium janitors in to play for Georgia. Thought I saw one of the Gatorade boys sub in as a qb.
Getting left out of the CFP, being abandoned by so many players and being embarrassed in the bowl game is karma for FSU selling its soul to the cult of Jameis in 2013 to win a title.
Sure, with an * since FSU played with second and third string players on bowl that didn't mean a thing after the NCAAF mafia decision. Of course Georgia got screwed too. 🙄
Why was the 13-0 Florida States snubbed by the CFP playoff? It has nothing to do with football. FSU is the victim of the feud between Disney (ESPN owned) and Florida's DeSantis. You can blame Disney/ESPN's Bob Iger SICK payback and Florida's Governor DeSantis for his deranged WOKE antics.

It's a sign of bad leadership at the top if players QUIT That means your athletic director AND or coach sucks You can't ignore the problem as if half the team QUIT that says alot about the culture
@mintcarrier if you say so..... but to others it's night and day obvious. On the top teams with the best rosters the only players that sit out really are ones in the portal. Unless they recently dealt with injury then there's no excuse. If you're on the team using the benefits of the school to your needs then you play. Simple.
The Back to Back Champs showed up to play, didn't care they got taken out. FSU cried they didn't get picked and everyone opted out of the game. This game truly showed a championship program against one who thought they were.
This was the result of corruption that has ran rampant in the ncaa and a protest by fsu. The monopolist conglomerate in ncaa wanted to set a precedent so the students did as well. These kids and public universities were led into an American competition with meritocracy in mind, unknowing it was more akin to the electoral voting system.
uhhh because we knew nikki sadban bought his win and into the CFP to begin with. Thats why they lost to michigan, you beat the number 1 team in the nation thats 29-0 and you lose to michigan?? lmfao
I will say this much. I really like Kirby Smart and what he said after the game. This opting out for the portal, something has to be fixed about it. It's destroying college football and the entire bowl season. Instead of getting to see a great game, this is what we got. I honestly believe Georgia is still one of the best four teams in the Country.
Agreed, I really like Kirby. He’s old school competitive and makes it about the game and playing to win. There’s no reason to opt out. The excuse of “I don’t wanna get hurt bc I’m going to the nfl draft” is bs. Why play any game then if you don’t wanna be hurt?
He’s right. Watch, soon the NFL will talk to the NCAA and put an end to the portal, NIL money and go back to the way it was before. It’s pissing off the NFL because kids are staying in college because they make more than the rookie contract. NFL will have to change the rookie money as well… This whole mess is wrecking college football…
committee got it wrong. GA earned their spot. bama had to buy a win and yet goes from #8 to 4? lmfao GA goes from undefeated and rank 1 to rank 5/6? nahhhhhh aint no way. bama mustve paid the committee millions lmao
I was listening to some FSU fans talk about if they would have had their star QB and all the players who opted out that it would have been a different game. I agree, it would have ended up GA 56, FSU 10.
That’s really weird because none of the head to heads really play that out. Maybe 10-20 points, or maybe Georgia throws the game like Bums a la Alabama game

Fsu would lose more games than they won if they were in the SEC. SEC is where the big boys reside! Any teams in the top 4 that are not SEC is ridiculous!

Want to go down there and give advice in your sweatpants from the sideline. Respect to all those UGA players finishing what they started.
That’s ridiculous, UGA choked the SEC championship game so they didn’t want to end on a sour note and wanted to redeem themselves with this game. FSU did everything correct, won every game - went 13-0 , and was snubbed of the college playoffs. They didn’t care for this match because they know they shouldn’t have been put at this level of play. Opting out is the only way to make it shown to the committee that they won’t be fucked over any more
@@capfc1294 Wow! They really showed them huh? I’m sure it taught that committee a valuable lesson. Only thing they showed is when things don’t go their way they quit. Reality is I think they still would’ve lost even with all their players. I wouldn’t necessarily consider UGA losing by 3 to a team likely to win it all as choking. Especially when you consider the performance FSU displayed against Louisville who then got dismantled by an unranked USC. Go into work next week and ask for a raise, when they don’t give you one just quit and see if they call you and beg you to come back and offer you that raise. I’m not a UGA fan, just a CFB fan pointing out that IMO it shows a lack of character to bail on your team. Think them playing and winning would’ve been more of a statement than them sitting out and getting absolutely embarrassed. Sorry your feelings are still hurt brotha! 🙏🏻
This wouldve been the perfect opportunity for FSU to prove to everyone they deserved to be in the playoffs yet just took the beating. Georgia and FSU were in the same boat, being ousted from the playoffs yet their mentality was night and day. True culture Georgia seems to have.
Players these days don't care about bowl games. They aren't warriors like football players of the past. Marvin Harrison Jr. walked into the stadium wearing women's yoga pants the other day. That's all you need to know about these Gen Z athletes. They want their money without getting hurt so that they can sneak off and behave like Dwight Howard when nobody's watching.
We all seen that last year, Oregon didn't make up 43 points in a year Georgia had 13 returning starters and better recruiting than Oregon, they had 11 returning starters and not near the class Georgia had. Maybe a little closer game but still 17+ win.
FSU took the opportunity to show everyone even the committee they made the wrong decision but instead they decided not to play and lost terribly reinforcing everyones thoughts about leaving them out the playoff
@@williams_57 you can’t tell me this team who couldn’t get their own players to show up for a bowl game deserves to be in the playoff over teams like UT and Alabama

28 starters out... the blame is on the coach and the culture he allows. GA stayed together after being kept out of the playoffs because they are a family. We still would have lost by a minimum of 21 had all star our players been on the field. Had JT not been injured... who knows how the season could have ended.
Opt-outs and transfers are ruining bowl season. I understand star players not wanting to jeopardize their futures, but the fact remains that this bowl season has had more lopsided games due to any missing players than ever before. As a fan of the game, it sucks.
Agreed. The NFL needs to put in some time of mitigation to prevent this. Maybe any starting player opting out of a bowl game heading to the draft is added to the supplemental or 7 round. If they are out of the big money they may stay and make an effort.
I think there needs to be a stipulation in both NIL and Coach's contracts that state you must play through a bowl game should the team make a conference championship/bowl game.
As an FSU fan, after JT went down. I knew even if we had won out we weren't going in. I also knew that even with JT we may not make it out of that frist playoff game 😂 I'm a realist. @SuaSponte75 to be fair Georgia was a very good team this year and anyone could tell, even with 1 loss, they have the talent to beat anyone. SEC games with Bama are always hard. If they played again,I'd even say GA would beat them the 2nd time. Even if FSU had lost by showing up, it would've been respected. There's no redemption for what happened tonight though lol

Kirby Smart said it right. College football is going to have to figure out what to do to enable teams to have their full arsenal for bowl games to make them more interesting.
