I asked my 12 year old grandson if he knew the Lords prayer and he hadn't got a clue he said that they don't do any assembly's anymore in school might offend the muslims I said to him that's absolutely disgusting this is a Christian country not a muslim country
@@susaneves1980 I had the same thing my two daughters. I noticed at my grandma's funeral they didn't know the Lord's prayer. Absolute disgrace. I have taught them it now, but that should have been the school's job. Our children don't know their own culture.
@brildidge9523 the salvation army adopted the tune as its processional. Words by Gould, tune by Sullivan, neither were Salvationists. The song is in reference to a verse in Timothy NT.

Today I’ve seen a Welsh person, an Irish person, & the Scots stand up for our culture, & put aside the grievances of the past. It brings tears to my (English) eyes as I sit here in Australia, knowing that we all must stand together against what is happening across the globe today, or we will fall. A tremendous parade was another Scots band down last year at the Lord Carson parade the Pride of the Rock flute band ,again onward christian soldiers was played a great parade mate .
