As an Irish Republican I respect Loyalists right to celebrate their Britishness on the 12th. Looks to me like they have a great day and as long as it stays peaceful I can't see what harm they do. We will never have a United Ireland if we don't respect each others culture. Hatred doesn't hurt the person you hate it just hurts yourself. N. Ireland people are the friendliest people you will ever meet no matter what religion. Let's get rid of Boris and his cronies and jointly rule this beautiful country for all its people. No London and no Rome!!!
Agreed. Context is everything. Used to see them walking on the 12th in Rossknowlagh , Co Donegal in the Republic. No one bothered them and holidaymakers would turn out to watch quite happily. When the nation is one day reunited , we should tolerate and even encourage the continuation of this tradition. These are Irish people who belong here and will be a part of us long after the British have left.
Are you for real !!! A bunch of sectarian coat trailing bastards marching deliberately past St Pat's and dancing around playing the famine songs !! Is celebrating??? Celebrating what ??? Sectarianism , Irish republican my hoop .
@@samca4472 aye right , you must have forgot NOTHING is passed on the hill , untill ROI ministers check it over lol ,ffs how can you not know this lol.
This is nice but I don't understand the Loyalists who insist on marching in neighborhoods where they aren't welcome. To me if I can do my thing in my own part of town, why impose it somewhere else where they don't want me around?
Correction. That is exactly what it is every Scarva day and every 12th of July around the province. The only reason why Joe Bloggs in Barnsley hears about it for all the wrong reasons is because SF/IRA want you to. The latest contention by SF/IRA is a 300m stretch of the Main (ie Communal) road linking one protestant area to another. This is not about residents 'rights' but a SF turf war power grab. They isolate 2 protestant communities in 1 go. The news won't tell you this but that is the aim
Love when catholics come on RU-vid to watch some Ulster/orangemen march through the streets off Belfast. Why sit and slabbed about Ulster men your not going to get anywhere it’s all tit for tat lol. #WATP #No Surrender
@3:29 - Nigel Dodds - normally so outspoken, (presumably) asking the bandsman to simmer down.............. Dodds lost his parliamentary seat in the December, 2019 General Election.
Merr Duffy it’s the only little bit left of our culture, god help both sides if they take a knee . Both Catholic and Protestant showing and not forgetting history is a great thing if there is no violence involved. This is a last grasp of our history that BLM will try to erase. Both nations are proud and that should never be written out of history, no losers and no winners yeh?
Oh yeah, and you and your ira friends didn't go for big pointy white hats, did you? Oh no, you lot went for black balaclavas instead, isn't that right? Let's see you try to deny it and make a complete fool of yourself.
Some are but the biggest threat to security is perceived to be on the homefront. It's not a new belief. This was a common factor when you compare the enlistment of Loyalists for WW2, against that of WW1.
@Graeme Johnston I believe the 🍊 should should be allowed and made welcome to walk the Republican highways in all 32 counties of beautiful welcoming 🇮🇪Ireland 🇮🇪
Unfortunately yes.... I hope one day these marches will become an event for all northern irish citizens where the music is the most important part and not all this ideological bullshit avoiding that people manage to get along with each other peacefully!
All I can see is a bit of a delay hardly something you can call disgraceful. If this is triggering this level of sensitivity then the Loyalists are really on the back foot.

I would like to think and it would be nice is the street band open to anybody to come on Watch and join in or is it just two things that you do amongst yourself enjoyed watching the parade in this RU-vid clip do you go to one of the churches after the parade where people can meet you and shake your hand and have a cup of tea and coffee or a biscuit together I don't know what happens at the end of the parade we don't see this sort of thing in England as long as everybody is made welcome and friendly it's really good what you're doing
@For god and Ulster That was nearly 50 years ago. Opinion polls today in England think Ireland should and will be united . I am from Perth Western Australia and we have a lot of young Northern Irish from both Christian factions who think Ireland will be one country in the near future.

I cannot see any problem from the police there at all
Will anyone on either side support their actions before a holy God who will judge every motive, every thought & every word let alone every action? Carrying the flag of “william’ would be better replaced with the indwelling of the spirit of God. And had He been this March would cease to exist! A peace would come to you that could never be brokered by man alone. Until the rivalry, the provocation ends, only strife will be your lot! And clearly, your children evidently, will follow in your footsteps. And so your sinful existence is to beset you for generation to generation as indeed it has for centuries. Wake up dear Irish people. You re so much more than setting to face off with each other by wanton rebellion to one another and to God himself. If not now, when? If not you, who? But know this, an accounting will surely be asked of you in that great and dreadful day.
@decclaws No , This is Armagh GAA. They do a grand March every July 12 th in anticipation of winning that fine trophy called “ SAM”, which is called after that great Protestant Cork man called Sam McGuire. They also burn the effigies of all the other GAA managers .

Some of the songs are magnificent and I can't see anything wrong with celebrating historical events in small groups as long as it doesn't degenerate after a few bevvies into an evening abusing catholic neighbours. Absolutely the same goes for the Catholics if they want marches commemorating hunger strikes or 1918 0r 1937 or whatever. It's time to leave the past in the past though. People should not be lambasted for the actions of their Great grandfathers, grandfathers or even fathers. It's time to live in peace together. The UK should allow NI to be reunited with the Republic BUT only if anyone who does not want to be a part of a Irish Republic is offered like for like accommodation/housing on the mainland of Britain. The Republic will be satisfied it. The Nationalists in NI will also. The Loyalists will not like it but at least they get to keep their British nationality until the day they die and they will also get to live on the British mainland IF THEY chose not to live in a united Ireland. I cannot see any other fair way of settling this issue!! Btw I'm a Brit, a protestant and someone who totally believes that the Royal family is an absolute positive for the UK.
@@Dannydantimpat aye makes sense unless you're one of the people being told that the only"fair" thing is for you to leave your homeland to satisfy the nationalist/republican community why not anyone who doesn't want to be part of UK fuck off to the South???

@William Taggart No one or very few believe that loyalist should leave the north and go to England ( there wouldn’t be the welcome there that you may think there is ) Eventually Ireland will be reunited , The best thing then is to leave everything as is regarding flags etc , Loyalist continue with their flag and culture/ events etc . The 12 th could become a big national holiday where all could enjoy the orange culture without either side feeling threatened . Future generations should live in peace and harmony and enjoy what life has to offer. Follow much the same as happens now in the rugby .
This is Clinging to a loyalism that is long since dead and discarded a long time ago by Britain. Every year the same old story which has no place in any modern society. Triumphalism breeds resentment and the inability and unwillingness to change, this same old rhetoric is not relevant anymore. Banging a drum is not culture, is that it ? Britain is embarrassed by this, and the problem is their is not the intelligence to understand this.
by the way Saint Andrew was a catholic, St George of Englands from Turkey and was also ordained a catholic and St Patrick is also a catholic, all three saints are on that flag, I thought ye didnt like catholics? so why are you flying the union flag which embodies all three catholic saints ha ha, talk about not even knowing your history!..
Same difference ya feckin tulip.your religion was made up off the back of the catholic religion simply because an english king didnt like being told he couldnt marry six times and quite rightly so!! as for the rest of your history its as fake as a three pound note so get over it or fuck off, you live in someone elses country on land thats stolen and the place your in still exists in the country that everybody else calls Ireland except you! the the place names are in Gaelic as well as English which is another big clue but your so blinkered that you've missed it or your just uneducated, also the place called Britain lies to the east, there are clues to where that place is as you have to fly there or catch a boat to get to it! theres also a stretch of water called the Irish sea which you have to cross thats another big clue as to where you are in the world, but hey lets allow politics to determine our landscape as apposed to geography because your such shallow mindless bigots that you dont have a country which is yours and the English themselves have no time for you, your part of a history they left behind but hey you continue to live in the past while the rest of the world moves forward at a furious pace, your little state is shrinking fellas, your now the minority in Ulster as the percentage of catholics in NORTHERN IRELAND is now at 52% which to anyone who understands politics means your a dwindling society who's days are numbered! I have no religion personally just in case your wondering which side of the fence im on! however i wont tolerate ignorance or bigotry which seems to be prevalent in the comments of those who dont like hearing a few home truths!! I dont know if your a catholic or a protestant or a jew or whatever as I dont really care, your identity I dont know either but your remarking with a degree of bigotry to be fair, put forward a proper point of view instead of just assuming to know what im about.
