I can just look into this guys eyes, and see a good worker, farmer, and friend. He’s earned his keep. BTW, I couldn’t take my eyes off that 7000 planter in the background, every time I see one, I go back to my days of planting till sundown with that same planter.
He's one of the best that 7000 has been with us since 2015 before that my papa owned it for years we have quite the line of equipment beside the 7000 is a 240 Melroe drill that has been in the family since 1976 we got it this spring
We moved our dairy farm in 2004, into a different county, 25 miles away. Everything this man said,we also experienced. And it is a tremendous undertaking to move an operating dairy. Meeting new folks, and dealing with new suppliers, overall, it was a wonderful experience. And probably the best decision of our lives.
Fun fact Ryan. Agco had Cummins in there tractors in 2001and 2002. The Agco Allis name was dropped to just Agco in 2002. The DT series came out in 2002 for one year only with the 8.3 liter Cummins
Really enjoyed the video once again. Grew up running Gleaner’s, but have never put my foot in an AC tractor. There wasn’t many around these parts. Keep’em coming
Inlaws were pure JD guys. Red was garbage in Grandpa's eyes, but the father in law bought an ih plow along the way and said he never pulled the jd plow again.
@@jeremycherny2041 here's the funny thing this was really similar for my dad his in-laws my grandparents are a mix of ih and jd dad grew up orange and has stayed orange has made quite the interesting talk and the dinner table
I wonder what happens if they hadn’t put the money into that new line and just stayed with the black belly 7000s for a couple more years until things stabilized in the 80s🤔
It's 6 one way half dozen the other genetics play a huge factor in that we dont push for punds here on the farm quality is our main goal and the pounds will follow
I really don't need to have you commenting. There's plenty of time over on TikTok if you want to argue about color. These videos aren't about what's better, it's about farmers and their stories. The farmers give opinions and that's fine with me. I don't get the anti Deere guys that can't get over Deere successes. If you really think their equipment is so bad, then don't buy it. You should be very happy that you can buy non Deere equipment used cheaper. You should look up what cnh did in Racine after they gave the uaw that new contract. Funny, a foreign owned company taking manufacturing out of the United States. Now you should stay away from my videos, so you aren't hurting yourself by triggering a mental breakdown.
