Checking out the freshly released ORBX Innsbruck in my 270 degrees vision flight sim cockpit based on a Beechcraft Baron G58. Being Austrian myself and flying there regularly as a passenger made me curious how good it looks and performs. In this video I take the Baron for a short flight around the airport with a few low passes to see the details. All in all I did like the result very much and it does indeed represent with its several custom objects a good rendition of this city. The frames go down to about 20 FPS which is still possible to fly and of course due to the massive custom object based scenery. The rooftops in purple and orange colors are kind of odd looking at the autogen houses, but that does not spoil the result. Only thing missing in this so called „mini-region“ is a second airfield to go to instead of just circling and returning to the same spot. Hopefully someone adds some freeware airports that fit nicely into this ortho. Well done Orbx.
