I have been an OMD fan since their very first album and this song is superb and haunting. I am 69 years old now and still think that they are absolutely brilliant ❤ I've just had my 70th birthday and I am still loving OMD

Wow this song blew me away live. Absolutely amazing. Your truely still up there as one of the best 80s bands. Your music will never die.

OMD have honed their style for decades, from a full band in the 80s, into the 90s , i am 61 now, and still am impressed by their sheer class.

Gentlemen I've been on a journey with you from Wigan College 1979 and to date California 2023. This is your finest hour; take a bow this is up there with your early single releases.

I've been an OMD fan since 1978. Although this song took its time, it is one of the best songs they've ever done. Absolutely beautful! OMD are only a year or two older than me. Bofn in '61. x

One of the greatest bands to come out of the 80s, and in my view the greatest performers of any 80s band still touring. I don't say that lightly. There are some great 80s-era bands touring out there still, and they've had 40 years to perfect their performances. OMD perfected theirs more! Their live shows are absolutely off the meter in excellence and fun.

This is the omd I love, such a beautiful song, the best out of three so far , can't wait to see them in Manchester

WOW. This is perhaps one of their most beautiful, moving and lush sonic landscapes that OMD has ever conjured and I've lived 45 years of my life with them in my ears.

All 3 new songs from Bauhaus Staircase surprised me completely. Took some time to get into Slow Train, but it all became clearer when I read the lyrics. Well, done OMD! Your talents are exceptional!

Watching OMD perform this song live on Wednesday night with was just hypnotising. The background clips of the video just added to the atmosphere.OMD shaped my taste in music from a young age & never fail to dissapoint.

How many other artists have kept their creative juices flowing after more than forty years? I loved OMD in 1980... and they're just as fabulous in 2023. No reliance on past glories, like the League or other faded contemporaries.

this song remembers me of my mum, who died last year because of cancer. this song is so beautyful.

At first found it underwhelming, that is until the normal service was resumed. As soon as the choral synths came into it, literally and I mean literally, goosebumps all over! Another cracking track on what could turn out to be one of OMD's best ever albums.

It's definitely one of the best tracks since they reformed. I would put this easily up with History of Modern 1, Ghost Star, Isotype and Dresden. It's definitely more OMD than the first two tracks off this album.

I've been an OMD fan since middle 80s, dont remember exact data as I was a child then ;) Then I had some "breaks", but still have this band in my mind as my 1st "love" :) This song is maybe not "typical" for OMD I know, but it has "something", I listened to it once to check and cannot stop :) Its just great! Thank you guys for being in my life, I can say: you have been always "somewhere", please don't stop, "don't go", this is just amazing you are still there and there are new songs, new albums. Thank you for everything! And just have to say this: my 1st song when it all began: "So in Love" :), best album ever: no doubts: "Sugar Tax", it is just PERFECT!
