Swampdigga is hilarious, but also amazing. Basically he was exiled for being crazy or something, and eventually some Trolls found him, and for some reason they thought he was a Troll runt so they brought him into their tribe as one of their own and that's why he has all that Troll Stuff. For added fun, he either THINKS HE'S A TROLL or is pretending to be one. Either one it's heavily implied he's alot smarter than he's letting on. Either way it's a shame Old World stuff isn't going into Warhammer Total War, cause he could make an amazing Troll LL (That isn't Chaos.).
I'm so happy that the Troll Horde actually supports pure Trolls. I was really worried the Hag was not going to be an actual character choice. Shame we didn't get like a "chieftain" or anything else really new in that list. But Im not complaining.
I only hope that the book is reprinted because I struggle to read online/digital content that includes trying to read a digital newspaper without my eyes hurting so bad because of it.

Generally speaking ,Im kind of anoyed that we still dont have lore clarification about 'TOW: half-orcs' as that would be a good excuse to use AoS Kruleboyz models (who themself are heavyli inspired by first 3 editions of WF orcs but without the 'bear bellies') tldr; there was a fun theory that WF half-orcs are created when orc spores grows up in human corps
Lots of people are using Kruleboyz for OW - I’ve seen loads of photos of people doing that and I’m planning to add some in myself. Just assume them to a bit different substrain of swamp orcs.
My theory on the half orcs is that they were the result of an experiment by the chaos dwarfs or a mad cathayan wizard that later went rogue and escaped, just like the black orcs. Their alleged location on the eastern steps would support this theory. The explanation for them not appearing in 8th edition lore could be that they were absorbed into the chaos hordes during the great war against chaos. Same explanation could be used for the centaurs.
I'm really sorry to hear about your grandfather's fall, I'm praying that he has a speedy and full recovery. Best of luck dealing with that situation. My grandmother lived to be 100 years old and situations like that can be taxing but are not uncommon sadly. Great review! Keep up the good work!
Lol from being a poor kid who could only afford to run one army which was blood angels in 40k and looking on at WFB players with envy cause I always loved the troll models to being an adult mid way through an Imperial Guard army looking on at The Old World players in envy getting to play the trolls again I think this will be the tipping point for me jumping into the Old World and slowly building my dream troll army
Already ordered myself a fishy tiddlemuncha, probably gonna make myself a troll horde in the future. Grom is my favorite greenskin character, so I just had to get her even just to celebrate his Total War campaign. Sadly that's all I can get of Greenskins so far, as I'm trying to muster up a decent hobby budget by the time dwarves drop as they're gonna be my big project. I do want that orc command with the beautiful banner though.
Taking the hat turns her into a L1 Wizard. It's not the same as getting another spell from any lore, as she loses her ability to take Troll Magic I think, and would also lose her L2 Wizard status if you bought her another level. I think it's better to give this to someone else. You are already rerolling stupidity with the Troll Horde rules. Plus, your Stupid units get +2 movement with the spell. There are some actual combos here...
You can take nomadic army as ally to normal O&G army, that way you could have few borc chariots? Just like borc big boss on borc chariot, core choice borc chariot and then rare choice borc chariot with few points to options is sbout 500 points...
I have waited for Black Boar chariot so long! Would be wonderful if those appear in the Wh:TW :D Also because of warcraft and HoMM i always missed ogres in orcs armies in WFB xD And my heretical nonwarhammeric thinking wish that some tribe could work for Dwarves and be heavy armored via them xD
I want to "buy the book" as you said. But I litterally cannot buy the book. 9 min only after the orcs & gob preorder was available, the arcane journal was already out of stock. So whenever you say "yeah I'm not showing you stuff so you need to buy the book", it feels very bad. I'm still waiting for resupply on the Bretonnia arcane journal. Come on GW, don't you want money ? Note : I want paper book, never going to spend on epub.
At least you had the option the AU online store has not shown the book cards dice etc all day and my checkout just failed twice as some of the minis became unavailable, I have now given up and emptied my cart now so no money for GW from me today what a fail

The rules are funny (but realy unbalanced) and you could argue that you could have some fun with it ... but GW was out of stock in minutes again and that people buy this stuff for 30 bucks is incredible stupid. There are like 10 sites of rules inside. People still have to much money.
