We have 1 black orc, 1 greenskin, 1 goblin, 1 night goblin, 1 savage orc as LLs, we could really use another greenskin lord for the GREENSKINS... Please for the love of god be Gorbad or Gorfang.
Sieges now just consist of me sitting outside and shooting or magicking the enemy until victory. The enemy can have three times as many units as me but they will just sit inside and slowly die. AI is lacking
Siege is still shit Maps need more variety The game has lost its time sync in the campaign. Some factions die off too fast and when the enemy empire is mid size they are the weakest. Things are weird, the campaign goes by too fast in terms of expansion and the rapid decline in the amount of alive factions. Another example is that you might have 30+ settlements but still only your starting army on your main lord and maybe two more shitstacks. It feels mismatched.
I’m pushing for Gorfang Rotgut - the squatter king of Black Crag. Unit-wise - the Colossal Squig is a must have. For me, generic lords and heros are essential - particularly of the Savage Orc variety so I can run a proper Wurzag campaign. Wouldn’t mind a BOrc shield variant too. I think Gitilla is likely as a LH.
The LL is going to be Gorbad ironclaw. It just makes the most sense. I like gorefang i would settle for the boris treatment with him as a sudo LL that you can confederate. I think they could change his model a lil and add one special thing to his skill tree and hes done. Add him to multiplayer. Its an easy W.
I think we shouldn't care so much which new Lord will be the 100th.. in the end I want every Lord, race with full roster and every part of the world map.
That "Big Stabba" (or however it's called) could be the orc variation of the Grail Reliquae, like giving melee attack and AP bonus to surrounding units.
It would be so disappointing if the Colossal Squig is just an upsized squig, I really hope it'll be a different model similar to the normal spiders and the Arachnarok Spider
Given the Ogre Lord is likely Golgfag, maybe would be nice to get Rudlug's armoured orcs. I hope it's Gorbad tbh. Savage Orc Lords and Shaman Lords would be good, and really should have been added with Whurzag. I really want big stabbaz, I was never too keen on the big squig moddels but they are probably the best bet for a centrepiece.
Honestly I think kislev would have been a better choice instead of greenskins, greenskins really needed a champions of chaos dlc to get everything, I don't think they will get everything they need as part of a lord pack, thematically it would fit great
I hope they rework “Waaaagh” to be better units -> only for LegendaryLords. It’s so bs when you can just make a hundred small armies and get 2x size in 3 turns. Also AI always spam a ton of small armies… I hope they tutch up each lord so they feel more unique. Aka not the same campaign in different locations.
Not gonna lie, I'll be here for the unit lists and all that but I'm gonna need a hefty grain of salt when trusting any of your reviews because of the ties to a game distributor. I feel like I can trust you as a person but strictly speaking there's too much conflict of interest
I don't think they need to completely separate singleplayer and multiplayer, there's plenty of other RTS games that don't do that and are still fine. The issue is that balance points need to be addressed for units. You decide what a unit's tier is, then you figure out the stats, and upkeep cost based on that, afterwards you had things like multiplayer's unit caps, or the recruit cost in multiplayer being different from singleplayer to determine the price point of a unit. Since the units actual baseline stats are the only thing that is relevant to both single and multiplayer, that's the part you decide first right after the unit tier and role in battle. Since campaign is the only place where you see upkeep costs, and then additional bonuses via lord skills and techs, you have the means to make units function in an increased or different capacity in singleplayer vs multiplayer. CA just needs to actually get that right rather than just winging it half the time. But other aspects of the game, such as certain factions needing touch ups. Or the lack of battle maps, or several other issues. Are much more important to handle. I firmly believe that people do not like settlement battles and sieges due mostly because of the lack of map variety. Honestly I wish settlement maps worked like cities in 3k, where you leveled the settlement up, and it made the settlement bigger. This was something you saw happen in medieval 2 and shogun 2 as well. Just have the minor settlements be a small settlement with with a few capture points at first, then you upgrade them to tier 3 and it's the big minor settlement maps we see in game right now. Build the garrison building and they get walls at the max level of the garrison building. Major settlements would start off walled as is, but unless they're a special settlement, like Altdorf, or Kislev, they'd be smaller walled settlements at first, then at tier 3 they get bigger and go to the size we see now. Special settlements like Altdorf and Kislev, Wei Jin, etc. Would only have one map, but that map would be unique. This would lower campaign fatigue due to having more maps to play on. I also think a sally out campaign option would be good, letting people set what the chances the AI auto sallies out would give them more control in how they play the game. And that is what I think would help the game immensely.
I didn't consider hobgoblins before but this would probably be the most fitting dlc for them considering the other factions. That said greenskins realy need more "reskinned" variations, especially for the savage orcs but also in generell as they are a faction of many races.
You always talk about Slaanesh, what do you like about them? Maybe do a video. As an Old World fan, I don't think much was fleshed out back then so they were never on my radar.
Theoretically we could also get weirdo shit like Goblin Variants (Sea Goblins, Fire Kobolds, Hill Goblins, etc.) and Troll Variants (Lava Trolls, which the Chaos Dwarfs could crib.).
I wouldn't be surprised if the next DLC was smaller in scale than ToD despite being 3 factions again... hopefully for a smaller price if they go that route.
Is it too complicated to put icons on quest NPCs? At the same time they don't make any profit from the game so I understand why they don't pull their fingers out of their ass but what I don't understand Who funds RU-vidrs? This game remained at the same stage as in 2013 nothing new bugs everywhere at all levels whether on the physics of the game textures or glitchy quests... Anyway, I would like to know who finances RU-vidrs to come and lie on social networks by making false advertising?
I love Snagla Grobspit because I think he’s the only Greenskin (in either setting) who is driven by grief, and actually has sympathetic motivations. The Empire moved into his tribe’s forest, and slaughtered every goblin and huge spider to the last. I’m not sure how well Snagla would work as headlining the DLC. But he could definitely be a free Lord!
