I am 1 year and over 6 months into picking orders at medline. Initially; I was upset and angered by warehouse politics, gaming and or "Cherry Picking". One day I looked at a label. Had a name on it? A regular human beings name on it. I then grabbed the product. I did an "item description " And I paused. The item I was picking was not a "want"...it was a "need" Easy to forget, you are picking a last meal or hope when, so much is required. Manditory overtime. Or...when you are sick yourself(I am). I opt...select to pay if forward. Give the last I have left; to pick what "they" need. When it's my turn...I will smile. Because I how much it hurts...how much sacrifice was made... by the individual who picked for me. That's why I run to work. It is needed!!! And I am badass enough to get for them!!!
Ahhh...the double walkie. Cement surfing. So fun to operate. Medline rocks! Just have to learn efficient pick techniques. If you are negative LPH, it may be because you are saying "ready" too soon & not logging in !ALL! delays? Work "smart...not hard". Pick 1st...be the artist after the assignment done (IMO). Stay in motion. Build on the corners. TIP: Look at box, say the item number on that box! "Jennifer will not let you grab the wrong product". Say "Item details" for confirmation if needed. Now, If you read from the ticket then do a blind pick...box in hand may be the wrong product. Handle items as if you are picking for Grandma, I.C.U., Lab searching for a cure or injured soldiers...BECAUSE YOU ARE!!!! It is so easy to forget how important you are in the process. Go C46!!!!
@@ya-boyrookus7516 8 hour mandatory shift but sometimes if the workload is heavy they might call an hour or two hours of overtime but most days just 8 hour shifts
@@carltonkemp1393 I would say so. This is the easiest w warehouse you’ll ever work at. I came from Walmart DC, and AWG grocery DC and this is by far the easiest one to work at
