Donny Grey w/ red ladder frame is mine. Exceeded expectations. Prints as “Gun Metal Gray” on the build sheet. Who made that roof rack on the Inky Black truck you showed? Thanks.
Good question on the Roof Rack - I'm not sure as it's not a Rhino Rack. My dealer likes to play around with a few cars for their showroom and adds out-of-the-ordinary items to spruce them up. The Donny Grey was the hardest to capture the essence of on camera. You're spot on with your Gun Metal Grey in print comment. That just makes it a pleasant surprise once you finally see it in person...especially with a red ladder frame! Thanks for commenting.
I got shale blue metallic, with black bullbar, roofrack, black glass, raised air intake.removed the spare tyre for excellent rear vision. 17" alloys with goodrich ko's.i love it & everyone that sees it reckons its the best combo they've seen
It has a classic safari-type look in that color. It's amazing how much a contrast roof (white or black) can really enhance the look. Thanks for commenting!
Don't regret the Magic Mushroom - it's an attention getter! Obviously I'm partial to the Blue, but Magic Mushroom was my alternate choice. It fits well with the character of the Grenadier. Thanks for commenting.
I just recently went to the dealer in Canada (being a Michigan resident that was the closest location )for a test drive and to see the colors. I initially thought that I wanted shale blue but after seeing it in person, I have mixed feelings. I might just go with a safe option like Donny grey 🤦
Great video! I went for the Sela green with the white contrast roof for mine. Can't wait to take delivery in December! it was difficult deciding with limited pictures available of the different colors in the real world
Perfect color choice! I think people don't realize how the contrast roof really sets off the look of the Grenadier. I know you will love it and should not lose any sleep over making that choice. December will be here before you know it. I should also think that yours will arrive as a 2025 model. Congrats!
Scottish White was my preference but Bought a Magic Mushroom, Inky Black roof Wagon because it’s all they had with the options I wanted. I couldn’t be happier, it looks awesome now with Leitner rack and White Knuckle sliders and the Eibach lift and 255 80 17 Cooper ST Max tires. I thought I’d satisfy my Scottish White need with a Quartermaster but instead I’ve ordered Eldoret Blue with Scottish White top and I’m wondering if I’ve made a huge mistake.
Thanks for commenting and congratulations on the Scottish White - it's very classic looking. The "official" word is that the bull bar isn't offered in the U.S. because it conflicts with the front PDC sensors which are a mandatory option here in the U.S. The only country that the bull bar is sold as an add-on in the configurator is Australia, but you can jump through some hoops and arrange to get one. Even my dealer had suggestions on doing so, so probably not out of the question to obtain. Cost, however, may be rather steep.
@@MyAutomobileObsession Thank you Josh. I knew that if anyone had information on the bull bars it would be you. I guess I'll wait til someone produces one domestically. BTW I really appreciate your videos. They are always informative and well organized.
Thanks for commenting - both on all black and for reminding me to dial up the energy. I'm a work in progress on the RU-vid stuff, but forget that I need to present a little over-animated in order to come out more energetic on the finished video. So, thanks for mentioning it. Now, as for all black. I love them, but tend to do every third new car in black as I get reminded just how much extra effort there is to keeping a black car looking great, so I rotate favorite colors. But all black is truly a classic - undeniable.
I’ve seen them all in person, both on cloudy and sunny days, and that Britannia Blue is gorgeous. The Magic Mushroom looks pinkish in person. The Sterling Silver has a lot of blue hues in it, to the point where it can be mistaken for a light blue in some lights.
Thanks for adding your comments. It's amazing that we lived with the configurator as our guide on color for so long, and how things look different (often better) when seen in person.
Thanks for the question, but I'm not the expert on that kind of modification. I would recommend you have a look at the Ineos Grenadier Forum (google search) and see what others might be doing. I'm in an opposite situation where I wish mine was about an inch lower for garage clearance as I spend a lot of time in various parking structures. Hopefully, the forum will help you with an answer.
I chose Britannia blue and white roof, no windows aft. Trialmaster edition. Hesitated with Sela green, very happy that I chose Britannia blue Took off the plastic air intake chimney as it is of no use in Europe
Great choice! We aren't offered the utility version without the back quarter windows here in the U.S., so we often tint them out since there's no cargo cover. Thanks for leaving a comment!
I went with color call sign "Santa"... Sela Green with Scottish White roof and Halo Rad frame.... It was down to Eldorat Blue with white roof or that in the end. Nearly said sod it and go with Scottish White, least cost, and wrap it later.
Ho Ho Ho = it's actually looks great with that choice. The only reason I didn't go that direction was that my other car is a MINI JCW with, wait for it, Dark Green with a Red roof. It's got the makings of a sleigh, but doesn't really scream Santa until you point it out to someone. LOL. Thanks for your comments!
Sterling silver is easy to keep clean especially if you get it ceramic coated have had all on test except black and eldoret blue I went silver it changes from almost blue to grey to silver in sunlight.
