In this video I cover the Miasmos Industrial Ship that has a dedicated Ore Hold so you can transport your ore quickly & safely to the Market Hub of your choice.
This Video is intended for Newer Eve Players but there might be a few handy tips in there for the hardened veteran!
Please let me know what you think of this guide in the Comments below & comment if you have any additional questions and I'll do my best to answer them all :).

As an experienced hauler, I appreciate seeing tutorials like this that are useful to the new pilots and reflect a solid understanding. Nice work!

Perfect intro. “Which industrial ship is the be- it’s the Miasmos. I can even let you gu- it’s the Miasmos.” The important info in the first 10 seconds. No cliffhanger.

Just an alt suggestion: The Miasmos makes a great Jet Can Shuttle, But a fast fit badger, using MWD trick will slip through just about anything as your station to station hauler. A fast fit prospect, will also accomplish the same task., assuming that you are compressing hi sec ore ( 4 typical variants) and that you arent hauling over 100m in value. per run... For large mass compressed ores, a fast fit MWD trick Bustard is the beans. For the Miasmos as your jet can shuttle,, having a row of warp stabs will help get you out if the gankers show up, assuming they dont break you before you can warp off. I personally use my Miasmos as described above... The first 1 i bought and it still kicking around... The badger and Bustard also live on.. But I have had some good fights with my procurers, ... The first thing you learn is to pop your alt hauler away asap... Decide on your barge fight or flight, next or together. Nothing says love like kill marks on my twin procurers. :) OF course, the biggest asset to you your operation is not the ship, its your brain... If they are chasing you gate to gate, you need to redirect to a station and dock, pop out in an ibis and park in front of a different station on system, and see what the chaser does. You need to be aware of gate camps and use the map option "ships killed within 24 hours" to help you navigate. Gank-intel channels help like a trucker's CB radio to tell you whats ahead. If you simply have a gank zone between you and the trading hub... 3 options 1- move to different location (best option).. 2: skill up an buy a blockade runner. this wil increase your odds, but nothing is 100% 3- fill up the boat and park it just off the gate cloaked just before server down... on server up, log in, book it through gankville ghetto, and off to jita. Null.. Unless you have an alliance or are part of a corp operating where you intend to travel, blockade runners are your safest option. BUT, if its going to be a consistent route ( to support your mining in that area) then i would suggest, using a clone with no implants, and run around in a chjeap frigate ... you may die a few times, but study the gankers operations... then come back in a cheap cloaked ship and get an even closer look. see if their gate camp has flaws and at what times they tend to operate.

Nice tip about this ship having a dedicated ore hold, I'll have to work on some Gallente industrial skill levels. Curious though, why not fit warp stabs and or cloak with a mwd? I've done this on one of my industrials and used rigs to assist with the align time, making it much harder to be targeted and grabbed in the first place. Your thoughts on this?

So I'll agree that it's best for uncompressed ore for a new player. But if normally easier to move if you compress it first, and if you do that, a procurer is the best option of you can fly it

Miasmos is best if you haul cute amounts of ore. But if you are serious about it, it's freighters or at least Orca.

Orca for me. Boasts an impressive tank and more manuverable
@mavendorf121
@mavendorf121 3 года назад
@@goretoriumgaming8600 while i can see your logic in what you say. id have to somewhat disagree one thing. the speed of it. if your mining in lowsec in one 0.5 - 0.4 the speed on it is god awful. you are always guaranteed to get ganked the only plus side to it. is as you say its very tanky. it would take at least 5-6 ships to gank you depending on their fits and what modules they are using. however like i said i can see your logic just the speed though in my eyes does not make it manuverable. not sure what guttersnipe thinks about the orca's manuverability. i mean there for all i know could be rigs to improve the orca's speed/align time. if so that would indeed make it manuverable etc.

Can you mine with this or is that just a dumb idea?
@mavendorf121
@mavendorf121 3 года назад
yes you can mine with it. however because it doesn't get any mining bonuses, your miner t1 and t2 turrets will only be taking 65m3 now if you had mining upgrade modules yes youd get some more but again it wouldn't be worth it.. you be better of with a venture or if you can use mining barges using a procurer or retriever barge. but make sure you have the skills to make it beefy/tank like. at least when it comes to shields and rig shield extenders. if you can that is.
@mavendorf121
@mavendorf121 3 года назад
for example lets say you want to mine jaspet. which is in 0.4 space amarr i believe if memory serves me right. youd ideally want a venture. now im not saying that you have to use a venture in 0.4 but two rule of thumbs here.. 1. you want a fast aligining ship that can align in quick time and warp out quickly. 2. you at least want a 1mn afterburner on it that way you can activate it.. then deactivate it again and warp out even quicker. just again as i say. make sure your ship is beefy/tanky.. and make sure above all else in case you need it.. to use a cloak on which ever ship you use.. so that if your in a belt.. you can cloak hopefully before any gankers detact you with probes or on d scan.. ive been playing eve since 2012/2013 myself. and i found that these little things helped me. maybe they can help you too.
