Venture Mining Ship Tips & Fit Guide 2019 - Eve Online New Player & Alpha Guide

Hey bud good guide. I have recently been using a similar fit in 0.0 where there are 2 slight differences. 1: you aren't going to kill the NPC rats with a 10m3 drone compliment so I leave the drones at home. 2: I fit a prototype cloak in the 3rd high spot I warp into a belt bookmark the asteroid furthest from the warp in then warp out and warp back to my BM. that puts me about 100km from where hostiles arrive if they warp into my belt. I choose which asteroid I will mine and position myself about 10km away clear from any objects and start mining. If anything arrives in my belt (NPC or player) I hit the cloak this instantly deactivates my lasers as well as making me vanish. I operate in a quiet 0.0 system and don't really watch local or use D Scan just hitting cloak if anything arrives saves my but. The only thing that ever got close was a recon ship with cov ops cloak but he couldn't stop me from warping away thanks to the ships inbuilt +2 warp core strength I have moved out to nul-sec with a handful of blueprint copies and my mining frigate and have built myself a small fleet of mining frigates in the NPC station (so it's -0.2 rather than true 0.0 but still carries all the risks) I am now starting on building T1 cruisers and the T1 modules to fit them. Side note my corp are blue to the local Alliance which makes it much easier out here.

These few videos saved me a lot of ISK and time, loving these methods.

I love my ventures. a few days ago. I bumped into a guy we had a good chat. and he gifted me 10--yes.10 ventures and mining laser 1's. plus other frigates and goods.and a ton of drones. say what you will about players,in game. but this guy was incredibly generous. I stil relatively new to the eve universe. but I really enjoy it. and I like mining and salvaging wrecks. ive got some good stuff from low level salvaging. fly safe--space cowboys. and look out for triglavians. but really......I made some of my isk .selling aplha injectors. theyre worth a ton of isk. I love mining kermite and jaspet. but good ol veldspar is still good if I cant find kermite or jaspet.-------fly safe.

8,4M total value for a venture with just mining lasers is too much to risk if you go to low sec or null sec for the more lucrative ores. It's 3 years later than this video and i've fitted a venture with 2 gas scoops for that price despite the inflation ingame.

If you are cap stable, why would you turn off your afterburner?

( HIgh ) .. 2 mining lasers ( Gaussian Scoped for a little extra range .. 16km ) ( Mids ) .. Survey scanner ( again, Scoped version .. it has even have more range than Tech II ( 20km ) .. Shield Extender .. Limited Adaptability ( hold off rats more ) > I M O an Afterburner is a waste. you should always be looking for -- and moving toward -- the next closest asteroid. and the Venture is already fast as a frigate. orbiting? nah. just point back to your home station and be aware of what's happening in local. who is in system. ( Lows ) .. yeah, Mining Upgrade ( Drone Bay ) .. Hobgoblins are the default choice > rigs to flavor ( resist holes, salvage rigs, extra capacitor or CPU if you can't fill slots ) bookmarks are important all through the game -- start learning about them now .. don't use the default asteroid belt warp-ins. they are around 20km from the rocks .. spend time your first trip out to any belt to make a new bookmark closer to the rocks -- as you said, spend as much time as you can mining. and make temporary ones for where you were mining last, for the juicy named ore 12km away, for wrecks if you loot and salvage ( include an EVE time so you can wait to come back with a salvaging ship before the wreck disappears in 2 hours ) .. a docking bookmark is another good one. inside 0km from station. it lets you dock as soon as you come out of warp. *Warp To 0* actually takes you to a couple thousand meters away from the station (2 - 5,000 meters)

I do missions i get 300k isk per mission is that good?

Question as an alpha what mining ships can you buy? Can you get the Venture I thought you can only get the worst ship?

Hello, as a newbie player, in my third mission, I was tasked to find a civilian afterburner. I couldn’t find the darn thing. Got pissed a dumped the whole program. Yeah, stupid for sure. Please can you give me a clue where I can pickup the second one I need, an I’ll download eve again an start over. Appreciate your help.

Tip for new players: 1:buy an exploration ship. 2:Train hacking, scanning 3: Use a thera wormhole shortcut to 0.0 4: Enjoy 50mil/h
