Nah I think Yui is the best choice, the ending is okay but...I just don't want to see her cry again.

In real life I think Yui is the best choice. He doesn't push him away. But in depth analysis of the series show Yukino was the best choice. Because at the start Yui was actually weirded out with Hachiman, she was only talking to him because he saved her dog but gradually she fell in-love with him. If he didn't save her dog she wouldn't have bat an eye. But with Yukino they are so alike and edgy that they just blended nicely. They have the same attitude except for Hachiman always disregarding himself. Hachiman takes Yukino's insults and always had cool comeback to Yukino thats why she probably was attracted to him. Btw Oregairu translates to "I am guile" With "Guile" meaning wise in a bad way or deceitful. Hachiman was definitely guile.

V.1 still looking great though. Props to 10GAUGE Studio!

For me V2 is better for when you haven't finished Season 2. But once you finish it V1 becomes much more resonating to me. V2 fits the "romcom" feel but at the end of the day this anime isn't a traditional romcom it's much deeper than that and I think V1 captures that. However V2 has better coherency with the other openings when it comes to visuals so honestly both are great in their own right.

They kinda intentionally did that for the purpose of Introduction of S2 through the V1 opening.

And for that cause, we can see the biggest difference between these two Seasons, S1 has introduced what a RomCom should go but in S2 that has changed, the struggle has come to the bond of three.

I’ll disagree. Mainly because ver 1 has more symbolism in the empty corridors while ver 2 does include more characters and visuals. But I argue than ver 2 tells a more of a story and is overall more enjoyable to watch

I have to disagree because it gives more of the vibe of something important is going on while the first one looks like a budget op.
