The first Casita, that man did an absolute amazing job on his cabinetry, bathroom door and other modifications. Very impressive!

Amazingly cool video. My DW and I really like fiberglass egg campers. HOWEVER, my wife DOES NOT like the insulating fabric (carpet) on walls and ceilings. Given that several of the egg campers have this, we are limited in our choices. We really like Olivers, but so expensive; therefore, we are focusing on the Escapes. Loved the cross section of egg campers and the chance to see inside them!!! Lots-o-fun!!! Thx!!!

I love seeing the mods on these gorgeous little eggs. Some folks are so talented! Thanks for showing us their ideas. There's nothing I love more than seeing how other people live or camp in their RVs.

Absolutely loved this video. Didn't want it to end. I have to tell you, I found on Craigslist in Missouri, a 13 foot Scamp Deluxe with wet bath. One owner, the husband had passed, the daughter was selling it for her mother for her nursing home expenses. They had upgraded it with all LED lights, roof air with heat. Stove hood vent with a microwave. 1800 dollars!!!! It was in showroom condition.

Thank you for showing all of the different fiberglass travel trailers. I am going to buy one in the next year and have been researching Scamp, Casita, and Parkliner. It was nice to see these as they are being used and not just in a video produced by the manufacturer.

Just recently getting interested in these egg campers. At 6'5" I'm sure I wouldn't have standing room in any of them. Much like I don't have standing room in my current sailboat, but I love it. Not sure I like the carpet on the walls/ceiling. A vinyl would probably be a good way to go with like I've seen on a few boats. Just nice to see how all the different eggs are put together. Might be small for me but I'll still keep a look out for one.

Can’t believe the wife asked if he could put the original back. It worth way more now.

Well I see craftsman with some great ideas for trailer revamp. Will be doing the same in my new Casita. I have been a Cabinetmaker for 45 years and very excited about remolding my own Fly fishing HQ. I must say I almost made a huge mistake Buying a Airstream NEST .... Casita and Oliver only way to go.

The first gentleman need not worry about selling the trailer with the improvements he has made. It works better and looks great! I would buy it over a stock model easily.

I love all these mods! I'm not a good crafty person, as With woodwork! But I love and would do all of these changes!

I just love touring other peoples trailers and sharing ideas on how to customize them. The factories of f/g trailers really should provide more ways one can personalize - even if that me getting less stuff to begin with (such as compartments w/doors so one can choose what kind of door and latch to put on). I have always wondered about the ceiling: If there can be a hole in the ceiling for a Fantastic fan why can't there be a small skylight put in over the dinette table/bed or in the bathroom?? I believe I saw an emergency escape window in the ceiling of some of the Scamps - a great idea: allows natural light in via ceiling and gives one another window on the wall that can be opened for air ventilation.

Thanks for your video. While we were not there, it was great seeing so many of the unique small camper ideas. One really stood out for us. It looked like a Scamp trailer with a customized dinette for two in the front with a bookcase beneath the table. The decor was red. We want to make this same modification to our Scamp trailer. Do you have any contact information for the owner of that trailer?

Wow, if Terry with the 2008 Casita wants to sell it, let me know! Or if he is willing to redo another one! The factories should hire him to design and spec out super deluxe editions. He does way better work than the manufacturers.

Some people put a lot of money into their mods. If you need all the luxuries of home, might as well stay home. Me? I kept my Casita 17' SD stock with no mods whatsoever. Enjoying the Casita - really comfortable and easy to tow.

I have to ask, are you a custom cabinet maker? The wood work looks amazing. This will certainly should last you a very long time. I like it. Especially since you are protecting your head. That could lead to some serious infections.

What is the difference between a Scamp Trailer or an Escape Trailer?

Nice trailer, but I am thinking that is not a very good sales pitch for the Casita trailer.. Especially if you have to remodel when you get it. But I do like the trailer.

Bex Cat-herder, how tall are you? One of the things you compare in most of the trailers is the interior height, so it would be helpful to know how tall you are.
