Awesome video. I’ve never caught a seabass from land but I’ve caught a lot from my boat! Beautiful scenery as always on the Oregon coast. Thanks for sharing.
Subscribed! My friends and I catch a lot of black sea bass down here in Cali as well, always a good time with some swimbaits. Look forward to visiting and trying Oregon sometime!
Nice! I was there twice in the past two weeks, but it was much slower (1-2 rockfish each time and occasional greenling), I'm wondering if the spawning makes the fishing slow down for rockfish. Let me know next time you go, always a great spot to go to.
I went back a few weeks later with my gf and it was real slow. I think sometimes the bass feed all night and are just not hungry during the day. I probably wont start fishing for sea bass or lings again tell next spring, but winter steelhead is coming up and I'm always looking for new fishing buddies. Here is my Email: Kyle87kto@gmail.com, hit me up there and we can plan something.
@@blueopal4579 Sadly no universal bait. For sea bass 3-4 inch white swimbaits with 1/2oz to 3/4oz works great. cast and let them sit for 15-30 seconds then retrieve retrieve them very slowly.
That’s cool. Guess I won’t share where I catch salmon on the beach either. That way we all can keep secrets. What’s with that? “Hey we had a really good time”. “Please watch but don’t ask”. “Ok guys”!? Who cares!?
