Finding Gold at the beach. This is part #1 where I work some materials at the beach. It was a rainy windy day.
I took home about 2 cups of concentrates and found a little in the pan. Part #2 has the cleanup and gold reveal. Oregon Coast Beach Gold

Even after researching regulations I was a little ways off of where you’re allowed to prospect. I was under the impression that the rule about being able to prospect the beach but not the creek does not apply at this location. I found that some Oregon state beaches have restrictions and some do not when it comes to panning and metal detecting. If you go to Seven devils beach you need to go at least 300 yards to the south or at least 100 yards to the north of the beach entrance before you can pan or metal detect.

Good video! I’ve been beach mining for quite a while whiskey run, never seven devils because it’s a state park! So you might look into the regulations unless you have a special permit I was denied to dig there . But I did great at whiskey run

Hi. Thanks for the heads up. I normally go further south. Actually south of Whiskey. I enter the beach at Whiskey and head south for a bit. Next time I go to the beach I plan to try right at Whiskey.

@@blacksandprospecting And I don’t mean to bring any negativity. These laws are BS laws. It’s getting to where we can’t do a dam thing hardly. I tell you if motorized was allowed at whiskey run, I know some pay streaks there that I could pull multiple grams a day

@@Goldhunter7769 yep you are correct. I checked in and I was a couple hundred yards from being legit. There are only a few spots in our area like that one. The borders of protected area are 300 yards south of the beach access and 100 yards to the north. According to the Ranger I spoke with. Different rules for the rest of the beach. Can’t dig around in the creeks feeding the beach but from the shoreline out is fair game. I was going by that rule. By the way, Whiskey is also State but not under the protection rule. Ranger thought it was probably a leftover from when there was something on the property at seven devils that isn’t there anymore. A couple of other restricted Prospecting or metal detecting places are Sunset Bay and Cape Arago.

Ya we won't look for another video to see what you got, if you don't put the results on the end of the same video it's forget you , there's more guys to watch, that put the results on the same video , Reason is, you lost everyone's interest, look for nothing , I've moved on, thanks anyway...
