This is the only reason why Oregon is an attractive school, all that dough from Nike. It certainly is not there great history of ZERO National Titles, wins against teams that are consistent (ie LSU, Ohio State, Auburn, and now Stanford, heck even USC until Kiffen and sanctions). Five seasons finally in the spot light and nothing to show but some colorful uniforms.

I totally get why young recruits are attracted to the different uniforms and that’s cool. I’m just an old school guy, teams like USC, Penn State, and Alabama. But if there’s one thing I absolutely hate in football uniforms, it’s white cleats! I fuckin’ loathe white cleats!! Nothing beats a pair of shiny low-top black cleats with white laces and white socks! It just looks more football to me, so old school 1960’s! I’m a little perturbed at my team USC this year for wearing black socks and those ugly yellow spandex but oh well. Things could be worse.
